Camp Holiday Resort and Campground

Boaters and anglers find direct lake access at Camp Holiday Resort and Campground, a privately managed facility on the shores of a fishing lake in Deerwood. The resort operates from May through September and accommodates RVs up to 55 feet with full hookups, plus tent camping and multiple access options including boat-in sites.

Lakefront sites position campers directly on the water with private docks, though Angela J. notes "most of the lake side sites were pretty uneven, bring plenty of leveling blocks." The facility includes two beaches, a boat launch, and rental equipment for water activities. Staff operate a small market and game room on-site. Clean restrooms and shower facilities serve the campground, with multiple reviewers commenting on the maintained condition of facilities.

Fishing opportunities extend beyond the resort's lake to nearby waters including Bay Lake and Borden Lake. Families appreciate the two playground areas and water trampoline. The resort rents boats, pontoons, and water toys, while campers can bring their own watercraft and rent dock space. Sites away from the water provide standard camping amenities with picnic tables and fire rings.

Camp Holiday Resort works well for families seeking water-based recreation and RV campers who prioritize full hookups with lake access. The uneven terrain on waterfront sites requires leveling equipment, but the direct water access and on-site amenities appeal to those planning extended stays focused on fishing and boating activities.

Lake Resort!

Camp Holiday has many great options for lodging and amenities. The hosts are personable and friendly. There are activities for everyone; kids, teens and adults. The lake is big enough and they have two beach access points. We can't wait to stay again this summer!

Wonderful Family Campground

We tent camped and appreciated the clean facilities, activities for kids to do, and close to great fishing lakes (Bay Lake & Borden Lake).

Lovely Resort

Love this resort. It is the perfect size on a perfect size clean lake. We had a site right on the water with W/E and close to outhouse and shower house. We had our own dock and there were plenty of water equipment to rent. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We will be back and hope to bring others with us next time.

Great Lake Site with W/E

Right on the lake with private dock. Sites a close by. Most have water and electric. Full hookups are very limited. Only 4 site near the back. Off of a quiet road. No traffic noise. Lake is clean but dark with ore. Loons frequent. Turtle lake channels over to another lake. Makes a great boat or kayak trip. Boat kayak paddle board and paddle boat rentals available.

Nice clean and quiet

We had site 4, lake side access. The site was amazing, with a dock to the lake. Has a picnic table with a lean to shelter, and a fire ring. Was quiet and peaceful, we very much enjoyed our stay, and will be back. Most of the lake side sites were pretty uneven, bring plenty of leveling blocks. That was really the only negative we had, but it wasn’t really a big deal because we came prepared with just enough leveling blocks.

Great for families

Nice campground for a family experience. Camping with two toddlers can be a lot, it helps when there are two nice playgrounds here, a slide, water trampoline, nice beach, and nice, clean bathrooms. The sites aren't very private, but some are right on the lake with a beautiful view. Would recommend

Great campground!

We loved this campground and this area!

We have site 1 which was right on the lake. We were able to park the camper parallel to the lake which was amazing. Such a beautiful view!

The owners and staff were great. They have a small market and a game room. The resort was clean and well maintained. There is a beach. You can also rent water toys, boats and pontoons. You can also bring your own boat and rent dock space. There are several docks you can fish from if you want.

So much to do in the area and this resort is right in the middle of it all.
