We had a great time camping here! Next time we will try to get closer to the water!
Nice private sites. Stupid campground layout. Good stargazing. Piney fresh smell. No cell service.
Sites are close together. Pull thru sites with patios are very nice. Facilities are very clean. Staff polite and welcoming. OTA TV reception good/cable included (24 stations). Wi-Fi coverage and bandwidth good but may be limited for streaming. Good choice.
Back in sites are close together but viable. Pull thru sites with patios are very nice.
Beautiful MI state park on the shores of Lake Michigan. Close to Mackinaw Bridge.
The park is located in St Ignace on Michigan’s upper peninsula with great views of the Mackinaw bridge. Park is very clean and has an upper and 2 lower camping areas.
Very nice campground, great service, facilities and location! You must go to Darrows Restaurant Mackinaw City!! You will thank me for sure, ya it’s that good! Have a piece of their pie. They sell over 110 pies per day….everything from peach to coconut cream!
Love this campground for a good weekend stay. Small campground but there’s some nice wooded sites and some more open sites. Looks like there’s some full hook ups. A few trails walking distance from the campground.
The old growth trail is beautiful and really well maintained. The trees are crazy…

We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and there wasn’t another camper in site. Lovely folks running the place. Very helpful and accommodating. This is not a resort, no electric at site, no water at site but pit toilets and a well to fill receptacles. Our site, F, is right on the beach. Wonderful…
I camped here for one night while I was on a business trip up North, and unfortunately didn’t get to experience much, but I did some recon and I am super eager to go back. This campground is all rustic, but it is by far one of the most beautiful campgrounds I’ve ever seen. The campground is at the…

This was a really awesome campground we found kind of last minute when things didn’t work out at the other place we were trying to camp, and we were not upset about it at all. We actually we’re happy our plans fell through, because the site was better than the one we were trying to get at another…

We visited this park one day on our 10 expedition, found some Petoskey stones on our hunt, and had an amazing swim to close out our evening witnessing one of the most magnificent sunsets I’ve ever seen. My one “thumbs down” about the place is that there is absolutely no dog beach at all. Boo to…

This campground was just pure magic! Our site was right on Brevoort Lake, the campsite was absolutely gorgeous and provided a good amount of privacy, and it is one of the best sites I’ve ever camped at, if not thee best so far. We spent half of our 10 day summer expedition at this campground, and…

We visited Wilderness State Park on our last day of our 10 day expedition, and I really just wish we could’ve stayed an extra day or two, honestly! The night before, we had an incredible time at the Headlands International Dark Sky Observatory the night before right down the street, and the next…

Well we didn’t camp there (we were already camping at Brevort down the road), we did spend almost 2 full days there of our 10 day expedition up North. We are absolutely going to camp there the next time we visit the UP. It is definitely one of my new favorite state parks, with breathtaking views of…
