Really perfect in off season

Got here the weekend it was closing for the season and aside from the beginning of duck season and the firing of lots of shotguns on my next to last morning here, it was a really peaceful place. Best sites 17, 26, 27 otherwise somebody will set up a tent right next to your van or tent. Good artesian well and very clean vault toilets in this small family campground. They sell firewood and have nice moveable picnic tables and lots of trash receptacles sprinkled about. Lovely sunrise views of Lake Huron. $15/night without electrical

Rustic camping RIGHT ON THE WATER

Barbara is amazing as is her 50 some spots on private camping land on the lake! Electric hookups, water well, and honestly my favorite camping site so far! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

COME CAMP HERE

Struggling to describe this campsite in a way that really does it justice. Run, speed, zoom as fast as you can to Redmann’s Hollow. We were only passing through for the night but I wish we could have stayed for 2 weeks. Maybe even forever. It’s so green, right on the water, and numbingly peaceful.

I believe it’s family operated and the office is a cute little cottage where we met the lovely people who run it. This place just feels like your mom is giving you a really long hug, but for $15.

My boyfriend and I and our dog stayed on a Sunday night in June and had the place almost completely to ourselves. Our dog loved being able to wade in the water and if it was 10 degrees warmer I would’ve been out there with him. It was a pleasure to see the Browns in the Super Bowl in the outhouses. There is a well for water access and plenty of firewood.

The ONLY bad thing about this place is the mosquitoes. Absolute war zone. Bring your best armor. (Hopefully it was just the time of year.)

Sleepy Hidden Gem for sure

We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and there wasn’t another camper in site. Lovely folks running the place. Very helpful and accommodating. This is not a resort, no electric at site, no water at site but pit toilets and a well to fill receptacles. Our site, F, is right on the beach. Wonderful experience watching the sunrise and storm roll in. Love this campsite. Sleepy Hollow is totally appropriate.

Beautiful campsite right on Lake Huron

This campground is amazing and well maintained! everyone here is incredibly friendly and helpful, me and my girlfriend stayed here 2 nights while traveling the UP and this camp is the best. It's a very reasonable $15 a night and includes a self operated water pump and bathrooms, each site has a fire pit, some have picnic tables and lake access is plentiful. Highly recommend this campground!
