Wooded sites and a downhill view toward the lake define the character of Emily Lake State Forest Campground, a drive-in facility in Toivola managed by the MIDNR Forest Resources Division. Sites are close enough together that neighboring campers will be audible. The campground runs from May through November, includes drinking water, toilets, and picnic tables, and has cell service. RVs are limited to 22 feet. Campers exploring the region can find campgrounds near Baraga State Forest Area as well as nearby options like Twin Lakes State Park Campground to the north. Arrive prepared for a forested setting with limited privacy between sites.
