Anytime I pay more that $40 to park my van for a night I tend to have high expectations. Even though we are “camping” I think the bathrooms should look like they’ve been cleaned on a daily basis. I did not get that feel here. For the size of camp ground it has nice facilities, laundry and several bathrooms. Didn’t see any children on our visit but they do have corn hole and swing sets available.
Took us a bit to get to the campground but was pleasantly surprised. The evening we arrived the bathrooms were in need of cleaning but by morning they were restocked and much better. Lots to do here for family with boating and water park. Watch for deer! We saw more deer than usual. Usually don’t accept walk in. But we lucked up as someone didn’t show up.
Almost all shaded spots taken when we arrived and only non electrical was available, which we can manage. Clean restrooms. Lots of young children running around.
Primitive campground spaced nicely apart. $20 per night.
Family oriented campground, lots of playground equipment. Clean bathrooms and showers and laundry. Lots of shade, a little close to neighbors but everyone was respectful.
This little campground gives you a neighborhood feel. Play area has 3 swings, 2 are broken but there was only one toddler here during our visit. Showers in bathroom, typical campground style. Some sites a little bit close to the road as far as noise, but far from full when we were there, on a Saturday.
Right in the lake, quiet and family friendly. Clean bathrooms, mostly RV’s.
This campground has a good bit of seasonal workers with RV’s and you can’t beat the price. Since we can camp we don’t have to have power and water so Brian let us park and shower for 10.00. Rv’s pay 22.00 for hookup and power a night.
So we stopped at the gas station across from this gem! Again, if boondocking is your thing, Nebraska is on target. Apparently most of the city parks allow up to 3 days camping at their city parks. It looks like showers are in the bathrooms but we didn’t go in. The last city park did have showers but hadn’t been used or cleaned in a while.
This playground has two parking pads with power and a bathroom behind it. Picnic table, playground and pavilion and grill. Sweet little find for boondocking.
It’s a city park, a play ground. Portapotties on site. Found it on Dyrt so we are hoping it’s okay to boondocks here. There are no signs saying you can’t park overnight, but also no signs saying you can camp. Guess we will try it.
Typical KOA, charged a little more but also more amenities. Would be a 5 if they kept the restrooms cleaner.
Great little campground by the water, but only 3 sites have shade, others are in direct sunlight until dusk. No running water, but very quiet and spacious. You will need bug spray if our long.
Large campground with plenty of open spots when we got there. Nice showers and bathrooms, saw two while looking for our spot. Even can fill up your propane if needed. Cute like yurt like tents shaped like covered wagons. Free WiFi. $30 for tent spot.
Sights are not too close. A little run down but fine for camping. Indoor pool for kids, bar and restaurant on property. $2 per shower, only 2 available and you go through the bar to get to them. Saw our first moose on the way from Greybull, which is where someone recommended this spot. Free WiFi, but only available near building.
Lots of shade, says you have to reserve but camp host said just pick a spot and pay, if someone comes in and says they reserved your spot, just move.
Clean area, typical KOA restrooms. Not much shade. Pretty mount and lake views. Playground and store. $5 for showers if you are not staying.
Lots of places and plenty of room for horses.
Mostly RVs at this campsite, 6 tent sites none were taken when we got there. Fairly clean bathrooms with showers. Across the road from Clearwater River. They did overcharge for laundry machines. Waiting to see if that gets corrected.
Not a large campground, spaces are fairly close, enough to hear neighbors conversations….but generally everyone was quiet and considerate. The spot we lucked up on didn’t have much tent room, so it’s perfect for our camper van, but understandable why it was the only one left. Bathrooms are fairly clean with 1 pay shower with privacy door.
