Cape Cod Campresort & Cabins sits in East Falmouth within a forested setting that puts campers within reach of Old Silver Beach, the Shining Sea Bike Path, and the Falmouth ferry to the islands. The campground runs from May 1 through October 15 and accepts reservations, which matters here: the property draws large extended families and groups, and sites fill quickly in summer. Campers exploring places to camp around North Falmouth will find this one of the larger, more amenity-heavy options in the region.
The atmosphere skews social and loud. Multiple reviewers flag noise as a consistent factor, particularly on weekend evenings when music and voices carry across tightly spaced sites until the 11 p.m. quiet hours. Fires must be out by midnight. Sites are paved, each with a fire pit and picnic table, and full hookups include electric, water, and sewer connections with a maximum RV length of 80 feet. Thomas A. describes it as "very clean, neat campground with plenty of activities for kids." Premium glamping sites are considerably larger, featuring paver patios, but at least one reviewer who did not pay a site-lock fee was assigned a smaller motorhome-row site instead. Paying for site lock is worth considering if site size matters.
On-site amenities include three pools, a private pond with rowboat and kayak rentals, mini golf, a small store, laundry, and a dog park. Mary V. notes the campground "really cater[s] to large extended families and groups." The pond is available for non-motorized personal watercraft as well. Helmets are required for cycling under Massachusetts state law.
The campground is now operated by Sun Outdoors, and some reviewers note that facility upgrades are ongoing. The arcade and jacuzzi areas have drawn criticism for being dated or out of service. Cleanliness, on the other hand, comes up positively across multiple reviews. Campers who want a quieter, less developed alternative might look at Washburn Island Campsites at Waquoit Bay Reserve to the southeast.
Description
More than any other Cape Cod Camp Resort, with three pools and a Jacuzzi, two playgrounds and a beach, fishing and boating on our private access lake with sandy beach, a sports field, adult lounge, teen center, game room, wi-fi cafe, store, waterslide, sprayground, and adult outdoor fitness trail, it is no wonder that Cape Cod Campresort & Cabins has become Cape Cod’s only family campground to receive the highest possible ratings from both of the nation's leading sources for campground ratings: Woodall's and Trailer Life. Located in the heart of one of the true vacation hot spots of New England, Cape Cod Campresort and Cabins is “THE PLACE” to be on Cape Cod! So many of the region’s leading attractions and beaches (including the Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket ferries) are just a short drive away from your base at Cape Cod Campresort. The park is situated on 55 acres, with its own private access freshwater lake and a beautiful sandy beach. Our campsites average 1600 square feet in size which can accommodate most coaches with sewer, 30/50amp electric and cable. Large wooded campsites with lake views are available, along with cabin and cottage rentals and one of the finest secluded tenting areas on the Cape. Most of our campsites are shaded by whispering pines. Our list of amenities is impressive, with a wood beam cathedral ceiling clubhouse, patio area, three in-ground pools and jacuzzi.
