Pretty, tiny sites, no fires

Really cute campground with cafe lights in trees over community game area and around other trees, farmhouse style office, and lots of tree coverage. Which is nice, but it would also be nice if they trimmed the low branches from the road ways for larger rigs.

The sites are TINY. We spent most of our time at the beach area, but it would have been nice to have a little space to hangout at our site. We could barley all fit with our slides out.

The beach is great though. Perfect for our little kids bc the water is shallow.

Big bummer that you can’t have your own fire. That’s something that we really like about camping, so that was a disappointment. They do offer a community fire pit, which can be nice and friendly if you want to do that.

Better than I expected

Honestly, I didn’t expect to like this place as much as I did. The sites are SMALL and that’s an understatement. Can’t put awnings out. Your real site area is behind you, but bc your all packed so tightly together, it’s really all just shared space. Normally, this is not my cup of tea, but everyone is so friendly and the evenings when everyone is out watching the sunset is very nice. No one is loud and obnoxious. Everyone is just peacefully enjoying the view and atmosphere.

They have a fishing pier which is great. And we’ve enjoyed hanging out with our fellow camping neighbors.

There’s definitely some noise from the bridge, but you can’t beat the view and proximity to the water.

We unfortunately had some issues with our motorhome and have to stay and wait for parts to repair, staff is so friendly and have been helpful and accommodating.

Highly recommend as long as you enjoy peaceful, quiet, friendly atmosphere. If you lie rowdy, loud, party vibe, please stay away.

Average basically sums it up

Sites were average. It was clean. No privacy between the sites. staff was friendly. Playground, game room, etc we’re all average. Bathrooms were clean and updated, which is always appreciated.

A but of a drive for groceries, which is no biggie. Close to springs which was what attracted us to this spot. I would say definitely nicer than some other options in the area from what I saw driving by.

Secret gem!

Found this spot on harvest host, but they let us stay a couple nights. Very sweet spot. Quiet, play ground, pond, mini golf and animals!

No store except for some Farsi fresh eggs from their chickens. But it’s a great little spot.

Average but go for the location

Sites are on the smaller size. Playgrounds are older and could definitely use updates. Access to beach town was great, but not really walkable. Had to drive to little beach spots.

Beautiful with everything you need

Spots are beautiful. Private little lake with rentals & fishing, 2 pools, playground, store, etc. and it’s all conveniently located in cape cod. We very much enjoyed our stay here.

Nice, clean, accessible

Some of the FHU sites are pretty tight, but overall the campground is nice. Pretty tall trees and clean.

Game room was pretty much non-existent for us, maybe they were getting ready to make some changes?

Easily accessible by car to shopping, groceries, etc. but no hiking or good walking paths from the campground.

Great potential

Very friendly staff. The grounds are great. Certain loops/areas definitely better than others. But this space has loads of potential. We were there at the end of the season, which we loved bc we practically had this huge campground to ourselves. Our spot backed up to the river, which was great, but we had to try 2 different spots bc some of them are VERY un level.

It’s formerly a KOA and we were told the new owners were about to start some major renovations during the off-season, we we would love to come back and see the improvements.

Playground definitely needs to be replaced. It was more like a few metal bars for hanging. But they had a jump blob thing my kids loved.

Amazing

Beautiful sights. Family fun & they are the sweetest. Look for the rubber duckies! This campground is truly a unique gem.

Great location

Love this campground. great views of the lake. Nice neighbors. Lots of space for my kids to run around. And the family who runs it is very friendly.

Great state park

Nice, spacious, semi-private spots. Great spot to see wildlife.
