Wonderful family spot

Owners are so nice. Camping spots are a bit cramped. We have a huge tent. But everyone was. Super nice. Kids had a blast with Friday and Saturday movie nights.

Perfect!

Small and quaint. This was such an adorable perfect campsite. Lots of seasonal campers who are all super friendly and helpful. Made some friends in day one and hope to be back at some point if not this summer then definitely the next! Truly “family camping at its best” as the sign says! Small rec…

Amazing place

We always tent camp and have always loved this camp but our last trip it rained pretty much the whole time -not a big deal we enjoy the outdoors but the camp owner went above and beyond letting my kids stay in the lodge to get dry and just making sure to check in to make sure we were okay

Halloween!

This visit we had our hybrid camper in one of the wooded sites. The Halloween celebration is really well done- campers decorate their sites, there is an in-costume parade, and the central, bigger rigs are set up for trick or treating. The haunted house is scary enough that I waited by the exit!…

Amazing view possibilities

5 friends and I got two RV sites for a 4 day weekend. Overall we had a great time. We seriously lucked out with getting two sites next to eachother over looking the lake though.

Pros: -Owners were very friendly and helpful. -Lots of lake activities to do. -Some great restaurants in the immediate…

Spring at Black Mountain Cabin

The trail up is steady, good footing, not many rocks and several stream crossings. The view from the cabin was nice but from the summit was disappointing. The spring was a little more than a trickle but the area was set back from the cabin and clean. The cabin had been cleaned by a ranger the night…

Great spot, great hosts

Kid and pet friendly. Lots of activities for kids including a flashlight candy hunt, water slide, and s’more roast. We’ve been coming back for years and the addition of a glamping tent, cabins, and domes have made it even nicer!

Good Location, Clean, Lots of Camping Options

I have a love– hate relationship with KOA campgrounds. They tend to be overpriced and not consistent. You will find one that has nice sites at a decent price. Then, there are the others which are complete opposite. This KOA is on my good side.  There are lots of site choices, cabins, yurts, and…

  • Nice, long pull thrus that are buddy sites.
  • Pizza oven and café.
  • Some sites are very open with lots of space.

Great clean campground

Great campground, it is walking distance to Old Orchard beach and has large sites. Many family activities including fishing, 2 pools, a dog park, and a snack shack.

Quiet campground

First time for us at this campground but not our last. A small campground with not a ton of sites but that is what we like. The owner was great during our stay and made us feel very welcome. Centrally located to many spots. This is a quiet and low key campground so if you are looking for lots of…

Beautiful spot

My biggest complaint is the narrow roads in the campground. The location is great, and the campground does seem to have quite a bit to offer. The staff was very friendly. Our visit was short, we were just passing through, but will consider this campground again if we’re ever in the area again.

Great location!

My wife and I enjoy riding our bikes on rail trails. This quiet campground is about a mile from the Eastern Trail through the Scarborough Marsh. This campground is small but well maintained. We had a "seasonal" site for two nights in September. It was very large and level with a picnic table and…

Nice spot!

Great campground. Sites are not too close, clean bathrooms, friendly service. Would definitely return!

Pretty Decent Little Camping Spot

Pros: Beautiful area, not a bad size campground, quiet nights (but this could be because 3 out of the 4 sites right near us were empty), free hot showers that are not dirty, lots of trails on edge of the grounds, lots and lots of tent sites, platform on campsite, pool and playground available,…
