Great stay!

Stayed for Memorial weekend. Stay was friendly and the local sites were plentiful.

Noisy and crowded

The campground is beautifully maintained and clean, with lots of pride of ownership. Nearly all sites are occupied with seasonals, right on top of each other. So it's like camping in a small city with a few trees overhead. The sites are close enough to hear every word of every conversation and…

Quant with awesome views

This is a great quant campground. It was built back in the 50’s but there are plenty of sites for those of us with large campers. The sites are right on the lake with gorgeous views. Some sites even have their own pier to sit out on and fish or swim from or simply watch nature. They rent kayaks and…

Quiet campground, on beautiful golf course.

Rick (the owner) is very accommodating, plenty of full hookuo sites and also another section with just W/E.

Second stay

We tented for two nights mid-week in 2020 and booked the cabin for Memorial Day weekend 2021. I thought we might like it less completely booked but that wasn't the case. The owners are quality people, the seasonal folks are super nice, the facilities are lovely. The weather was cold and rainy but…

My Favorite Maine Campground

I always make an effort to stay here at least one weekend a year. Peaks-Kenney is my favorite State Park to stay at. The sites are clean and quiet, the beach is humble but nice, and the lake is beautiful. I would recommend this spot to absolutely anyone.

A Camden Must

Camden Hills SP is a no contest campground if you are visiting Camden and surrounding MidCoast areas. 9 out of 10 times I visit Camden (one of my favorite places in Maine), I stay at this campground. You are not only a short drive into town with shops, beaches and restaurants but also have access…

Great location

We chanced upon this campsite on the way to Bar Harbor and decided to stay the night. It was a great location with excellent WiFi signal, clean bathrooms, for a great price.

A short hike to the top of the hill to catch a panoramic sunset view of the bay and the town, and just across the road,…

Great Fall Camping, Wonderful Views & Great Owners

Spent a late September weekend with kids and pets at Chewonki, and had a great time. Such a friendly atmosphere, the golf green was a blast! Campsites are large and if you don’t have a camper are outstanding. Camper sites in the field have the best views! We will definitely be back, highly…

Hidden gem!

This is a beautiful, family and pet friendly campground. Very well kept. The bathrooms and showers were always clean. Plenty of activities. There is a beautiful nature trail along the stream!

Great location!

We enjoyed our stay here in our motor home. The deck on the ocean is a great place to picnic. Rockport harbor is a short bike ride away with a beautiful ocean side road. Ask the harbor master for directions. The only downside to this campground is traffic noise from Route! Not bad at night but it…

Amazing little Campground

Small but beautifully wooded sites. We had an amazing view of the sunrise. Rockland and Camden are close and worth the visit. The owners host a Lobster bake on Saturdays and it was so good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They also had great showers with hot water! And free coffee in the…
