Warning. Horrible experience.

There are no sewer hookups(which is fine) but you are only allowed ONE use at dump station upon leaving the campground. I arrived with a 1/3 tanks and wanted to dump on way into park because I was staying 3 days/nights and they said ok but you can’t dump on the way out(seriously?). I asked if I could pay for a second dump and it was$30. I’ll never go back.

Three days in a cabin

We rented a one room cabin that was perfect for two who flew in without camping gear. Fridge, coffee pot, microwave and AC. One queen bed and a bunk bed made for comfortable sleeping and a fire pit was even included. This site is located on a beautiful property and very quiet. There is also a pool and we’ll stocked store and the Zach and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating and that’s why I gave it five stares. We will stay again if in the area and I recommend you give this place a try. Trailer or tent sites are here as well as a ‘glamming’ canvas tent for a more romantic stay. 😉

Best Campground in Maine!

This is our third year as a "Seasonal" at Martin Stream Campground and after camping at other campgrounds this is "the place to be" for relaxation, activities, a friendly camping environment and owners that go far beyond to make every day a GREAT EXPERIENCE. The atmosphere is always positive, the activities are well varied and everyone is encouraged to participate. However, if you just want to sit quietly, walk at your own pace, kayak or canoe in the stream that is always an option, too. Martin Stream campers are some of the best cooks you will ever get to experience - potluck suppers, mid-day brunches, ice cream socials....you name it!!! Serenity Lane hosts great bon-fires (you need to experience one of the owner's famous bon fires, for sure), live music and just plain social gatherings. As you drive in off the main road the rushing waters just carry your anxieties away and you now from the start that this is a little piece of heaven right here on earth, for sure. Don't pass up an opportunity to treat yourself and your loved ones to the experience you so well deserve - good people, great fun and wonderful memories!"

Noisy and crowded

The campground is beautifully maintained and clean, with lots of pride of ownership. Nearly all sites are occupied with seasonals, right on top of each other. So it's like camping in a small city with a few trees overhead. The sites are close enough to hear every word of every conversation and there is nothing to screen sites from each other.  After an afternoon and night of noise--annoying enough that I was wearing earplugs and could still hear talking, bass beats, loud music and yelling, I packed us up and left on Day 2 within 30 minutes when the new neighbors backed their rig so close that it was like we were sharing a site and they started yelling before they even got out of their van. To be fair, all the noise stopped exactly at ten and didn't start until eight am, but if you are looking for a minute's peace or privacy while you're awake, you won't find it here.

Second stay

We tented for two nights mid-week in 2020 and booked the cabin for Memorial Day weekend 2021. I thought we might like it less completely booked but that wasn't the case. The owners are quality people, the seasonal folks are super nice, the facilities are lovely. The weather was cold and rainy but there was still a great vibe and tons of activities. The cabin was cozy but had a microwave, coffee pot, and fridge (no need to worry about ice). Outside we had a canopy, fire ring and grill. The kids had a blast in the heated pool and on the playground.

Top notch Campground

We had a really nice time at Martin Stream Campground. Its run really well by a young man named zach who was always around and checking in and very attentive with the people and the property. We tented in a great little spot right along the stream. I will say there appeared to be a lot of all summer camper rentals, so it was a little odd with everyone seeming to be friendly and already knowing one another. Each sight had water and electricity hook ups and wifi pretty much from the entire spread of sites. The sites are pretty much on top of one another which is the only reason it's a 4 star for me. I prefer a little more secluded. If I go back, itll probably be on either end of the season with hopefully less people. All in all, a really nice facility run by a very competent and friendly kid! Lots of games and boats to rent. A really nice park and pool. Looks like he does daily activities and keeps the place looking absolutely beautiful!

Wonderful Gem of Turner

This is a wonderful campground. The sites are large and well kept. The grounds are in great condition. This is definitely a gem in Turner. Zach is an excellent host. I would highly recommend booking a site. "Paul Bennett"

Amazing, Amazing Amazing!!

"Amazing, amazing, amazing! The campground is wonderful; clean, quiet but with plenty to do. If that doesnt make you come back then Zach, the owner, will. Super friendly and he is always available but never makes you feel like you are being watched at all times. Our favorite campground by far! I never thought I could talk my husband into a seasonal site, but after staying here a few times last summer we felt like we found a second home and we didn't want to leave."
