Watch out for their prices

Online the prices was 40$ for a tent site. We didn’t need water or electric just a spot to sleep for the night. I called to reserve cause the website wasn’t very easy to work with and the man on the phone said 76$ but couldn’t explain costs and was rude with the “you’ll not find another spot for this cheap!” Which we did. For less than half that cost. So watch out on prices and the extra charges.

Nicely wooded sites BUT...

The sites here are nicely wooded and have a decent amount of separation between most of them BUT the campground is located too close to the road and, with the exception of sites 84-87 and cabins 8-10, you will hear road noise in your site. Options are 10 rustic cabins, tent sites, partial and FHU sites.

The bathhouse was very clean and there are both outdoor and indoor showers; both looked nice although we did not use them.

I thought $50 for a tent site was a little steep but it was all the potential extra fees that irked me:

*$30 site lock to ensure you get the site you want when you reserve. I took a chance and was able to get the site I reserved without paying this fee

*$4 weather guarantee (allows you to cancel due to inclement weather). I didn’t bother with this one

*7.95 if you need to hook up to WiFi. We were able to use our own portable WiFi

*$10 to use the dump station (we found another place that charged $5)

Aside from the fees and proximity to the road, this is a nice campground with a host of amenities: pool (which I was surprised was still open on October 1), horseshoes, laundry, dishwashing sink, a playground, and trash pick-up at your site. There is also a path to the shore with picnic tables, and chairs. Repairs to the sea wall are in progress so caution was recommended.

Great Campground!

I camp here yearly. The owners are friendly and visit you at your site! The campsites are ample with room for two cars on many of them. Most sites are wooded with plenty of shade trees making keeping your rig cool in the hot sun a breeze! Most folks are very friendly and willing to offer a hand to a new or seasoned camper. The overlook which sits right by the sea is wonderful! The campground sits a short drive from Rockland and is also near to Camden. I highly recommend this campground!

Cozy, friendly, and beautiful

We stayed at this campground with our camper van for 4 days, and were absolutely thrilled with the experience. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful both on the phone and in person. Campsites were comfortable and well maintained. The camp store was well stocked with anything we needed. Our site was a short walk down the hill to a beautiful overlook on the rocks above the ocean: Amazing sunrise views were worth it on their own! Facilities were clean, comfortable, and well maintained.

Depending on which site you're at, the bathrooms can be a bit more than short walk away. The sites are all quite close together and not very private, but our neighbors were all friendly and added to the experience.

We will absolutely be returning next year!

So peaceful and relaxing!

We visited this campground in May 2021. The sites were clean and the owners very friendly and helpful. The ocean view was beautiful! Picnic tables and several chairs and benches to sit and watch the ocean scenery - porpoises and seals and the sunrise was amazing! There was also a cute wooden swing that was perfect to enjoy the atmosphere of birds and nature welcome you to this beautiful location. Although the campsites are not right on the water, the walk to the coast is just a few minutes away. The restrooms were very clean. The pool was not open at the time we visited. We would defiantly return to this campground.

Seems Like a Family Place

I prefer more secluded/quiet campgrounds but this one seems like it would be great for families. Lots of activities and they have a lobster bake. The ocean overlook is beautiful in the morning sunrise.
