Will absolutely return

Small cute campground, what camping should be. Nice trail to the river next to our site. Dog friendly. Fun little scavenger hunt for kids of all ages. Short walk over to Coos Canyon rest area with great swim holes. Close to Tumbledown Mountain hiking, Mt Blue and Webb Lake. No cell reception and…

Beautiful Campground

So Far, the best campground we stopped at on our 2 week traveling adventure. EXTREMELY clean! Best hot showers! Beautiful open sites and no bugs. Planned in one night but stayed for 2!

Quiet camping

Quiet 50 site campground on Rangeley Lake. Sites are well spaced with plenty of woods in between for privacy. We were not able to get a water site so we missed out on kayaking. Chris, the manager at check in was extremely nice and helpful.

Beautiful find !

We stopped in on a Saturday at noon to see if by chance there was a site available for one night. There was a cancellation and we had a beautiful secluded, sunny, grassy site. The amenities here are great and extremely clean. We are on a 2 week road trip so it is very nice to do some laundry!!…

Pleasantly surprised!

Our campsite was very easy to back up our pop up camper. A Gentle little stream encompassed the site and the sound of Coos Canyon Falls nearby lulled us to sleep at night. This is a campground that is perfect for people who use four wheelers/ side by sides. Many trails to explore as well as many…

Quite stay on the river

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights in late June. New campground and new owners. Bathrooms and showers were very clean and well maintained, a must on the list for my wife. We stayed at the far end of the campground on the river. Although there had been such little rain it was more of a stream, but…

Perfect Retreat

Beautiful grounds, well kept, plenty of space between sites. The spots on the water get a bit of the lake breeze. Got cell service in site 69. Wifi at the common areas. Clean showers. Dish washing stations. Kind staff!

Quiet campground, on beautiful golf course.

Rick (the owner) is very accommodating, plenty of full hookuo sites and also another section with just W/E.

Flagstaff is so gorgeous

Our site was directly on flagstaff so we had an excellent view! Great swimming and playground. Clean bathrooms which is also a plus. Extremely friendly staff. And as a bonus you're maybe 20 miles from Canada! We go every year!

Remarkably beautiful

We stayed there 1-4 September 2020. Zero bugs beyond a few basic house flies. Breathtaking water views and well maintained grounds and facilities. Many sites were on waterside of the beautiful lake-ours included. We were the only campers without kayaks or canoe— felt like we missed a golden…

A little loud.

If you want to ride ATV trails, fish and swim in the Kennebec River, ride mountain bikes on the Kennebec rail trail this is a great place to stay. The down side is the truck traffic on the nearby roads. The campground is near an intersection so logging trucks slow and accelerate nearby starting…
