Cupsuptic Lake Park & Campground

Accessible via paved roads, Cupsuptic Lake Park & Campground accommodates RVs up to 80 feet and operates from May through October with advance reservations available. The lakefront property features both full-service sites and wilderness camping options for groups seeking different levels of amenities. Site selection ranges from developed areas with full facilities to more remote wilderness spots accessed by logging roads.

The campground sits directly on Cupsuptic Lake with a small beach area and marina facilities for boat rentals and docking. Multiple reviewers highlight the waterfront access, with some sites positioned right along the shoreline. A pavilion provides covered space during inclement weather. Clean restroom and shower facilities serve the camping areas, though the property attracts many seasonal campers and can get busy during peak periods.

Logging roads across Route 16 provide miles of cycling routes for campers interested in exploring the surrounding area. The campground allows pets and campfires, though visitors should expect some noise from dogs throughout the day. stephmariered@yahoo.com notes "Bathrooms and showers very clean" and describes the atmosphere as family-friendly despite the busy nature of the facility.

For the best site selection, particularly waterfront locations, booking well in advance proves essential during summer months and holiday weekends.

Family time

Nice campground. Super friendly people. Very busy campground, but everyone is very respectful. Great place for kids and families. Our site was right on the lake. Places to grill and dock your boat. Bathrooms and showers very clean. There’s also a very nice pavilion if it’s rainy. Only thing was a tad frustrating was the amount of dogs who barked all day at everything. Overall a great place to camp with the family

July 4th weekend

We love this campground! This was our second July 4th weekend at cupsuptic, always worth it. The campground has a lot of different site options with full facilities offered, as well as limited wilderness sites. Both our stays have been in the wilderness sites and they are perfect for the group that doesn't want the full campground experience. We have also rented boats directly from the campground. The owners are wonderful people who are always helpful.

Wilderness at it's best

Tented here 30 years ago and in a motor home this year. It's a nice place on the lake. Nice beach with little seating coves along the waters edge, offers a little privacy. There is a tiny marina, docks for small boats. There are a lot of seasonal campers. We stayed mid-week so we don't know how bust the weekends are. There are miles of logging roads across route 16 that are great for bikes. I'd stay there again.

Quiet, secluded little get away

Went on a four day wilderness trip. Very nice being several miles out on logging roads away from any towns or noise.

Incredibly buggy. Site was advertise as next to the river, but had to walk through heavy vegetation to even see it.
