Narrows Too Camping Resort

Located within 10 minutes to downtown Bangor Maine, we are just a short drive to the Downeast Region and Acadia National Park. We are the perfect stopping point if you are heading to or from Canada and the Maritimes.

Full hookup sites, tent sites, & cabins. We have a large pool, free Wi-Fi & Satellite TV at sites, a game room, on-site Propane filling station, laundry room, playground, entertainment, big top tent for events and much more!

Cold River Campground

The sites are on the grounds of our functioning animal preserve. We are very close to Mt Desert Island and Acadia National Park. Suitable for tents, rvs(without hook ups) or just to sleep in the car style camping. Call us and tell us what your camping style is so we get you into the right spot. For the most private sites, we suggest Raw and Rough, also on our property. We also have Cadillac Mountain View Loft and Hammocks for those who like a little more comfort. This is very basic no frills camping. We may allow Winter camping depending on the weather and your understanding that there will be no water available. Call with any questions about anything and refer to having found us at The Dyrt.







Camping With Wolves

Choose from five tranquil sites spread across a homestead comprising 50+ acres of forest and open and blossoming blueberry barrens! Catch stunning sunrises and sunsets(and moon rises if you're lucky!). Look up on a clear(especially on new moon) night to experience your private planetarium. Share the space with deer, turkey, fox, and an array of birds if you look out for them! SITE 1 is closest to(\~1/8 mile behind) the family home, and features a larger stone firepit. This site is great for cars, and for those looking to be a bit more nestled closer to the forest. Also, if you want a more interactive experience, we are happy to join you at the fire and give local recommendations! SITE 2 is farther into the field(but still totally accessible for all vehicles by dirt road), offers its own brick firepit, and a nice, wide parking/tenting area beside a beautiful birch tree. The views are more open across the blueberry barrens. Recommended for those with larger vehicles(easier parking/turning), or those looking for a more remote retreat. SITE 3 is a grassy spot under an ash tree, with a firepit and views of the fields, house and the tree line directly behind you so more closed off.-5 min drive from Kingdom Woods Conservation Area(800 acre area with peaceful trails and a pond)-10 minutes from Blue Hill town center, mountain(hiking!) and its Bay(swimming!)- 20-30 minutes from Holbrook Island Sanctuary, the historic Castine waterfront, or the quant finishing villages of Deer Isle and Stonington, and- 45 minutes to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park! Discover Downeast Maine away from the crowds, at your very own quiet blueberry base!
