Located within 10 minutes to downtown Bangor Maine, we are just a short drive to the Downeast Region and Acadia National Park. We are the perfect stopping point if you are heading to or from Canada and the Maritimes.

Full hookup sites, tent sites, & cabins. We have a large pool, free Wi-Fi & Satellite TV at sites, a game room, on-site Propane filling station, laundry room, playground, entertainment, big top tent for events and much more!

Cold River Campground boasts acres of forest trails with quiet and inviting campsites. Each site has a picnic table and a fire ring for an afternoon picnic or late-night s’mores. Making parking easy with our pull thru sites in Bear Corners or park near our amenities in The Burrows for our newer adventurers. We also offer lodges, glamping sites and cabins for those who love to camp but still want a bed to put their head on at night. We are within an hour of Bar Harbor and Acadia. We are across the Penobscot river from beautiful Bangor Maine. We are the perfect stopping point if you are heading to or from Canada and the Maritimes.

Directions

211 Riverside Drive, Eddington, ME, 04428 Directions From I-95 Northbound: Take exit 182a (Bangor-Brewer) to I-395. Take exit 4 on I-395. Turn right onto Route 15. Continue through 3 sets of traffic lights (Route 9 East). Follow Route 9, 4 miles until Route 178 (Riverside Drive) veers left. Take Route 178 North. We are 1 mile up on the right. Southbound: Take Exit 197 (Old Town). Turn left onto Route 43, follow through to the set of traffic lights. Turn left onto Route 2. Continue to Route 178. Take right onto Route 178 South. Go approximately 8 miles. We’re on the left.
