A Texas C.C.C. state park in east Texas on Caddo Lake. Beautiful sites and canoe rentals for the old mill pond. Tent sites, RV sites and shelters along with cabins.
Nice trees, big lake, great for swimming & kayaking.
Oh wow! This place is wonderful! Very peaceful! Well maintained. Just what we were looking for. The staff was great. Bryan and Rebecca were very helpful and friendly! Made us feel welcomed to stay and glad we were here. The sites can be a bit tight for a big rig. We were in a 40' 5th wheel. Sites…
The pool was closed the whole time we were there. I could understand a day, but they just kept trying to fix it themselves instead of getting a professional. We stayed here for the pool so, at$55 bucks for grass and gravel and no pool, we were not impressed. The women's toilets were new and clean,…
I had a business trip and she Louisiana and they treated me very well I would definitely recommend it
Nice area and the lots have decent spacing. Bring bug spray and watch your small animals. Gators rule the lake.

Here to visit family in the area, good central location. Close to Walmart, home depot and other shops.
Most campsites overlook the lake. The sites are seperated for privacy and well maintained. The fire pits are the only problem as they are poorly designed and have no ventilation. Bring your own pit. The bathrooms are clean.

We were at Mill Pond site #64. Right on the water, it was really beautiful. I’d heard after heavy rains this campsite goes underwater.. something to keep an eye on. We didn’t have a kayak when we were camping but were able to rent one nearby and had a blast on the water. Didn’t see any gators…

This COE campground is part of Lake O' The Pines right outside the historic town of Jefferson, TX. Our site had 180 degree views of the beautiful lake and sat amongst tall pines. The sites are a nice distance from the others and fairly level. Electric and water hookups were on site and a dump…
Nice clean level sites. Most of them along the lakeshore and private. The campground loops around and has some interior sites. All seem very level and spacious. The campground host and hostess very friendly and helpful. I am definitely coming back to visit this campground.

Pros: There is only one site right next to it... I don’t like being cramped between two sites
Trees for hammocks
Site is right on the water. I don’t kayak but I think you could easily get in the water from the site.
Lots of history at this park and some short, beautiful trails
We had a great 3 night stay here in c4. Close to the water and had good views. Lake still flooded so boat ramp and beach were closed. Put boat in at piney woods up the road. Friendly deer and squirrels and nice short hiking trails. Bathrooms ok. Wish our site had sewer. Very nice workers. Didn’t…

Dirt, grass rv spits, not level, was there yesterday so know the road in has been improved . Not huge . Right on the water. Boat launch, tiny (2)showers and s8nk, toilets in little building on hill, small store limited items, porta potties. Not much but park, boat, fish. Lots of full time house…
Overnight stay here on our way to Galveston. Busy campground and we were the only tent in site, however, the loop we were in was spaced out nicely (D loop). This camp was clean. Has disc golf, trails, a pavilion, a basketball net, boat dock, volleyball net, and a swim beach. Apparently they also…
