So peaceful and quiet!

My husband and I have lived and traveled in our RV for about 16 years and Frontier Campground is by far the most peaceful, quiet place we have stayed over the years. Because they only allow monthly reservations, it keeps the traffic to a minimum and creates more of a community atmosphere. The owner…

NO CICADAS

We were THRILLED to leave our cicada-infested northern Kentucky home and find that this park was blissfully free of Brood X cicadas. It was so peaceful, and we were able to fully enjoy the outdoors.

always a pleasure

we camped at Hueston Woods this past weekend. The weather was great and the campsite was awesome. Luckily we have been here before, so we know what campsites to grab when booking. We decided to golf on Saturday because it was a little too cold to go to the beach. The golf course is awesome and the…

Small site

When we originally arrived at the site we were VERY disappointed. Maybe 5 feet on both sides of pavement so there was no room for a tent let alone two. The fire pit was covered in mud and it looks like someone drove through it as well and that’s what caused the mud and what not. However! The staff…

Good overnight spot while traveling.

Super helpful friendly owners that quite frankly made our experience. They are also trying to improve the spot. This campground is mainly seasonal spots on the banks of the Ohio River. Close to the quaint town of Vevay, Indiana.

Great family campground with plenty of amenities

Awesome campground... everything you want to do while on vacation with your family or kids. There are several fishing ponds and a lake with a beach area. There are 2 pools, and a golf course. Laundry facilities are decent, and there are plenty of machines. My one negative is the condition of the…

Halloween Weekend

Third year attending this weekend for Halloween. I never decorate for Halloween but with everything going on in 2020 I said what the heck. I think it turned out nice but not good enough to be a winner. This KOA is a Holiday and there is plenty of staff and activities for the entire family.

It was OK

This is our second time staying at this park. The first time it was at the end of the season so I figured I would at least give it a second try. This is a 3.5 rating in my opinion but it has to be a 3 or 4 star. Awesome host, very attentive, pleasant, polite and helpful. She is everywhere and doing…

Nice & Quaint

We arrived this past weekend and I am very satisfied from our first night experience. We walked the trail Saturday morning and walked around the site (which is small but nice). We have a site right on the creek and have seen a few boats come through. The owner is very nice and communicative. They…

A real hidden gem

Throughly loved the campground. While the campground was full, you didn't feel like you were on top of others.

If you can snag a premium electric sites it would be worth it as they overlook the lake. The lake is pretty much a kayak/canoe only lake with fishing.

Beautiful park, clean bathrooms

This is primarily an RV campground and it’s HUGE with many loops. The ground is hilly and parts hold water so there are few tent spots. We brought tents...

At first I was a bit disappointed. However I decided to focus on the positive. The trees are big and mature. The restrooms extremely clean,…
