No converted shuttle buses allowed!

I called to make a weekend reservation and the woman asked what year and vehicle I had. When I told her I was traveling in my converted 2012 shuttle bus she immediately (and with a disgusted tone) informed me that "no, we don't take those vehicles here". I tried to tell her that my rig was a beauty and well maintained, and again with disdain in her voice assured me I would not be allowed to stay at their park. I spend hundreds of $ camping around the Cincinnati area year round and I'm glad NOT to be spending my money and time in such a judgemental, rude, excuse for a park... I immediately took this location OFF my Google maps.

Favorite Ohio Spot

We often stay here when traveling from Vegas, usually for a month or more. It is a no frills park, but a beautiful, relaxing place to unwind and enjoy nature.

One of my favorites for peace and serenity!

Absolutely love this peaceful, quiet campground. We stay here weeks at a time when visiting Cincinnati. It’s no frills, but the view, the ducks and the serenity are well worth staying here. There are showers, an awesome library, a store, laundry and walking trails

Great amenities

This campground was a little more than what we usually spend per night, but we had come specifically to visit friends staying here. We were given a small discount for paying cash. The pull thru FHU sites were level and had enough room for our tow vehicle. There was a nice picnic table, but the placement of the fire ring was a little odd. It sat at one end of our site but right up against the site next to us, so trying to sit around a campfire would have been a little awkward. There wasn't any shade on the pull thru sites. There was a laundry room, but it was out of order the entire time. We didn't use the showers, but the bathrooms were clean. There was a camp store, and they did have propane and firewood. They did allow fishing(catch& release) in the lake and also offered canoes and pedal boats for use at no extra charge. There was also a nice walking trail around the lake. The campground is located on the Ohio/Indiana state line with the Kentucky border just across the Ohio River.

Nice

Level pull-thru spots. Staff is very nice. Only stayed 2 nights. Great for passing through the area.

Quiet friendly

Nice place to stay. We had booked a site for a weekend but when we got there we were informed that the site was double booked and the woman we talked to worked a miracle and got us a site. I'd defiantly go back. All sites had full hookups, very clean bathrooms and shower rooms.
