A bit of a letdown

The people who were helping us out were nice and the campground had great views…

The pros: views, Bigfoot, on site propane, boat rentals and hookups at sites.

The cons: hillside back in sites are very steep and require tons of leveling. People idling their automobiles, moms screaming at their kids regularly and the WiFi network never really worked.

When it rains, the pull-thu sites flooded. The small store is very over priced and if you are towing a car, the trailer can’t go on the actual campground itself. So, before you go through the gate (plastic cheesy arm that they will lift up) Stop and look to your left before being tempted by the gate keeper to proceed past the gate and into imminent peril!

You will see a small overflow lot. Stop and unload your vehicle and place the trailer or dolly there.

If you should be seduced by the sultry allure of above said cheesy plastic gate and enter the campground, you will be asked to go through the entire campground, past idling vehicles teaming with screaming mothers and snot nosed children!

Then you will be prompted to return to the entrance, turn around your land Yatch on a dime and do it all over again. Not fun at all..I assure you.

Other than that, enjoy your stay!

Heaven!

We had the most amazing time and actually ended up extending our stay here because of how lovely this spot is. Secluded and tucked away along the river. Very clean sites, both back-in and pull-through. Full hookups. They have live music and a food truck on Saturdays. Entry is by card-swipe only, so very safe. Peaceful spot without much noise. Little trail along the river to walk.

Waterfall and trails are nice, but the sites aren’t level

The sites here are not level. We used our normal 2x green blocks for the Jack, but needed all 10 of our leveling blocks, plus 8 paving stones to get the appropriate height.

Despite advertising, there is no dog park. There are a ton of dogs, so this would’ve been nice.

The river and waterfall makes it feel like a tranquil place. The walking trail by the river is nice, we walked it almost every day.

Live music and food trucks every Saturday are a nice touch!
