No way to make day before reservations so we gambled and drove in. Van and bikes covered in fine white dust from road. Small lake but sites on hillside with no view. Clean bathrooms but noticed paid time showers were taped " out of order" morning of our departure so no showers for us. Very quiet…
large. clean campsites with ample shade. spectacular lake views especially for sunset. very quiet during the week.
Nice little campground 4.5 miles of the freeway...9 minutes away from a small town with stores that stay open till 9. A bait shop onsite, closes early. Most rv sites with power, walk in tent sites w/o. Rates are great $12/15. Showers and flush toilets onsite as well as cabin rentals, canoe rental…
We stopped at Crowder while we were driving cross country. The campsites are large, grass and shady. Pad is asphalt but not necessarily level . Beautiful bathhouse with 6 individual shower rooms.
All the spaces are pulled through. It is very clean. There is full hook up for water, electric and sewer. All spaces are paved. There are picnic tables scattered throughout the park. If you are here to gamble, you will love it. If you are here to rest, you will love it. My wife and I feel safe in…
Got in @3:30. Nearly empty. We’re self contained so it was $10/night with no hook ups. They have RV sites with water and electric. Nice free showers. Quiet and clean.
As tent campers we found a lot to love at Lake of Three Fires, but also found ourselves wanting more. It’s got a gorgeous lake, and some camping sites are out of this world, but it can be inconsistent and there’s not a lot to do.
Pros: -While the electric hookup sites were full, primitive campers…

Very nice corp park. Campsites were spaced well apart with plenty of room on pad around campsites, cell service was four bars and air tv 30 channels
I reserved the site for mid-April at the beginning of March. Campground opens 4/15 and we arrived on opening day. Check process can be done either in person or online upon arrival. Thursday night the campground was practically empty, but by 7pm on Friday night it was nearly full. Ranger offered a…
Although there were RVers and a nice group of Boy Scoutspaet of the time, there was no one else in our tent camping side. We had chilly weather, but marvelous views of the water with a rare flock of pelicans! Some of the trails were muddy, but there plenty of others to choose from. Red buds and…
I wish I new how to fish because this campsite offers a beautiful lake with plenty of bass. On top of that, the fire pit has a very nice two-tier cooking grate that can be rotated on or off the fire, although I couldn't find any firewood sold at the park, Indianola Iowa is just a few miles north…

Very nice place, close to the lake. Beach at walking distance through the trail. Fishing area, two kid playgrounds and at around 15 minutes to any grocery stores and gas stations.

Road improvement 2021 is nice, cutting down the shade trees, not nice.
This is a regular stop on my campground rotation. Camp host's are the best ever. Clean facilities. Has both shaded and open spots, yurts, trails. There are lots of activities, kids can swim below the ford, canoe starting on…
About 1.5 mile hike to camp, nice moderate hike with wide trails. Listened to deer rutting all night and coyotes howling. Can’t wait to go again!

There are no amenities at all. No restrooms. No shower facilities. Storm shelter is locked up, no access. But it's lakeside living and send registration. Not so bad expect for having to leave all the time for restroom or shower.
