Managed by the Winnebago County Conservation Board, this campground sits alongside a series of small lakes in Forest City. Campers drive on grass to reach individual sites, each equipped with a picnic table and electric hookup. The camping area combines grassy and forested sections, though many spots lack level ground and work better for tents than larger RVs.
Sites accommodate vans, Class C motorhomes, and smaller Class A units on the more level spots. A rental cabin provides an alternative to tent or RV camping. Basic facilities include restrooms and a water faucet near the lakefront camping area. AT&T cell coverage reaches the park, which represents an improvement for this historically poor reception area. Three Fingers Campground lies 2.6 miles northeast for additional camping options.
