Exposed and flat, this dispersed site within Iowa's Eagle Lake (Hancock) Wetland Complex functions primarily as an oversized boat launch. The access road is unpaved, running about a quarter mile off the main dirt road before bending left toward the water's edge, where kayakers can put in without difficulty. No amenities are on-site. Expect boat traffic and parked vehicles during duck season. Campers wanting developed facilities might consider Crystal Lake Park to the northwest.
