I wish we were able to stay longer than one day! I loved this spot! We loved riding our bikes along the river and just being away from the hustle and bustle. Not many amenities other than showers, toilets and hookups, but it just adds to the appeal here. A great spot to get away and experience…

Friendly staff, very beautiful drive underneath the canopy to the campsites, variety of sites to choose from. Our site (64) was both pretty spacious and right on the tree line, had a fire pit, grill and electric. Size of sites seemed to differ as well as sizes of the grills. Some sites were also…
Very pleasant and enjoyed myself camp spaces are plenty of room and lots of stuff to do
Spent 3 nights here for the first timein early July. Everyone was friendly, there were plenty of things to do and the owners are GREAT! You are treated well here! Made our next reservation before we left! I can see us spending lots of time here! Thanks for a great time! See you soon!

We really like this place and was about a 30 minute rude from our place in the western burbs. Some of the areas best mountain bike single track is right here. There is fishing kayaking and hiking trails too. Friendly staff and clean bathrooms. It did get a little noisy at night but that sometimes…
Used to luv this campground, previous owners passed away and now you can't do fireworks so we don't go. It's near a creek that the kids can swim in , needs updates but good bang for your buck.
The beach was good for the kids and adults. We only caught a few fish no keepers.jeepers. go I d place to back in a long one. The neighbors on both sides were very nice. I-65 is right next to the campground.
Lake Michigan is gorgeous, next to casino an outlet malls, clean place.
Amusement park has really went downhill, but convient campground if your going to park
We arrived late, they got us in, we left early. I paid more than I wanted but they’ve got a sweet deal with their proximity to the solidly booked national park. We arrived on July 5th, and the pool had just been shocked (good) so we couldn’t use it (bad), can’t speak to that.
We were in a VERY…
This is a wonderful campground with everything accessible for a few days respite. Clean showers, space to walk, gorgeous lake - quiet just outside of the city!
The staff were delightful! - except when I phoned. I was told the campground was fully booked. Many hours and a phone glitch later, we…
My wife and I stayed at site #8 of the Mather loop in the Dunewood campground. In terms of the site itself, it was $25 per night, pretty typical of a national park. The site was clean when we got there. We definitely had neighbors but the spacing was fair enough. We were just across the street from…
The campground is older and could use some TLC. You will be camping on top of people. The sites are small and can be difficult to get in with a larger trailer. Beach and pool are open goofy days. When we looked at the lake we thought it would be better to swim at West beach. WiFi is available but…
Tried to reserve a spot for my rv,and it took me three tries and got hung up on,and no reservation.
Great getaway spot to go and relax away from home
