Great park just off interstate. Gated for security and plenty of shade. Great family setting and staff.
Well maintained and beautiful state park. Sites were perfect. Good service from the rangers at the gate. Thanks!
Nice big sites. Well wooded and shaded. Park offers hiking, canoeing, kayaking, and a nature center.
We arrived late and were greeted by staff a member at our site. Very helpful and friendly. I’d totally stay here again.
Clean quiet 25 bucks
The slough. We like it! I'm being bias due to how close it is to the house. It's $12 a night. Pretty clean campground run by the DNR, lots of acreage to explore. No real trails but if you don't mind roughing it plenty to explore, hunting, fishing, mushrooms, electric motor only boats on the…
Very relaxing, and very quiet. Great shade from tall trees, and a large pond to Fisher paddle boat. Been there twice and will be going back.
We stayed here code a week while my husband had to fly out for work. It was safe, and everyone was so friendly and kind. The neighbors welcomed us and by the time we had to leave we felt like we were part of the community. There is easy access to public transportation. It was HOT and there are no…
We spent one night at Indians Dunes National Park and we love this campground. Lots of room for our 15’ Ford F-150 and 19’4” travel trailer. Our campsite was Dunewood Campground, Mather loop, site #1.
Lovely! Affordable, super convenient, gorgeous hiking trails and beach/ this was a dream! Loved every minute of it!

We had a great weekend camping at this State Park. From the front gate person to the camp host, everyone was very friendly and helpful. We were on campsite 13 in the electric campground. The site was clean and well maintained. There was a picnic table, fire pit, and a very level pad. The…

A fine campground, but you can hear the highway and commuter trains pass by regularly. Private property abuts the campground. Good in a pinch, but the nearby state park campground might be a better option. Also, reservations are required (we pulled in at 10:45, not knowing and managed to grab a…
We had four sites on Osage loop for tent camping. Two were very small (14&15), and little grass for tent setup, fine for RV or trailer campers. They were private with brush between sites. 16&17 were amazing for tents!! Open, tall trees for our tight rope and hammocks and shade. Grass…
Site 67 is one of the walk in sites, but it was very private. Only one other site was visible, so we set up our tents between us and felt like the only people there. It was great. The walk in distance wasn't bad at all. The bathroom facilities were very clean. The sky was beautiful, and the…
Easy reservations and check-in. We used the primitive spots and were a short walk from the bathrooms. Lots of hiking and mountain biking trails in the area.
