Best RV Parks & Resorts near Bayview, ID

Several RV parks provide accommodations in and around Bayview, Idaho, with Lakeland RV Park offering proximity to Lake Pend Oreille. Nearby Ravenwood RV Resort features full hookup sites with both 30 and 50 amp service, spacious pull-through options, and seasonal operation from May through September. ["This place is an absolute gem! All sites now have full hook-ups with water, power and sewer and every site has both 30/50amp."] Most parks in the area maintain gravel or paved pads with varying degrees of levelness and site separation. Silverwood RV Park, located in Athol approximately 15 miles southwest of Bayview, offers convenient access to the adjacent theme park and accommodates big rigs with back-in and pull-through sites.

Advance reservations are strongly recommended during summer months, particularly for parks near attractions like Silverwood Theme Park or Lake Coeur d'Alene. Most RV facilities in the region maintain dump stations, with Kootenai County Fairgrounds RV Park featuring four dump stations just west of their main camping area. Cell service varies significantly throughout the mountainous terrain, with stronger signals in developed areas near Coeur d'Alene and spotty coverage in more remote locations. Pet policies generally allow leashed animals, though restrictions apply in some common areas. Winter operations are limited, with many parks including Ravenwood closing between October and April, while others like Tamarack RV Park remain open year-round with reduced amenities during colder months.

    Liberty Lake RV Campground

Looks like a parking lot with RVs

This is a newer RV park in Liberty Lake. They have only been open 2 years. Liberty Lake is between Spokane, WA and Coeur d’Alene ID. There are about 130 spaces or so, with concrete pads and paved streets. There is grass between sites, but they are much too close to be comfortable, and there is no shade! And, the rules!!! Lots more rules than most other camping areas.’ It also appears many of the residents are semi-permanent. They have free cable snd wifi, a dog park, playground, swimming pool, laundry, and dump station. The sites are 30/50 amp, most are pull through but the outer ring is back in. They also have propane. They are on the pricy side: an outside loop 50 ft. Site is $74/night. Good Sam gets you a 10% discount. It is easy access to I-90 both East and west.

    Blackwell Island RV Park

    Waterfront RV campground

    9/14 to 9/17/19

    Blackwell Island RV Resort

    Coeur d'alene Idaho

Close to interstate, located next to Spokane River and lake. Boat and kayak rentals. Sites are gravel, level, both pull throughs and back ins available, FHU, no privacy between sites. Some nice water front sites. Chairs in place to enjoy the small beach. Nice volleyball and play area. Small BMX course was fun. Cute landscaping near water, small trees within the campground. Picnic tables, no wood fires allowed. No tents of any kind. Very limited store at the office. Town very close with stores and restaurants. Nice restaurant a short distance at the Marina called Cedars. Great private bathroom/with shower. Nice laundry facilities. Free cable and spotty wifi. Moose too!

    Kootenai County Fairgrounds RV Park

It's one of the nicest fairground rv parks.

It's one of the nicest fairground rv park I have been to. This place was very well kept and very friendly campground host. This place is big rig friendly. I stayed in a 45 class A motorhome with a tow vehicle. I had no problem with the access to the rv park. If you are coming off of interstate 90, don't use exit 13. The round about is way to small to handle big rig or any camper. The best route is exit 12 big rig friendly. The price is very reasonable for this area. No shade.

    Liberty Lake Regional Park

    Quiet park close to Spokane

We spent 3 weeks at Liberty Lake Regional Park while visiting our son and grandkids in Spokane. The road in is a little narrow, but once in, it’s a great little campground. Most of the sites are fairly level. We stayed at 2 different sites over 3 weeks, and both were level. They are close together! They provide a fire pit if you want one. Picnic table, water and electric. The dump station is quite a drive, back out, up the hill. There is a clean shower/bathroom building and a beach within walking distance of the campground. While we were there the campground hosts did a fantastic job of keeping everything clean and tidy. Several hiking trails, including an equestrian trail, waterfall, fishing and lots of wildlife. There were deer in the campground every day, we saw moose, owls, pilated woodpecker, and hawks. We were there over July 4th weekend and they had a fireworks display on the beach.

    Thousand Trails Little Diamond

    Little Diamond Newport Washington

We spent a week here and loved it. It is so quiet and peaceful. The sites share electric and water, no sewer and are positioned oddly they are on the off side and in front by the road. Some 30and 50 amp just check the box. The sites are gravel, some what level and size/length varies, a few pull throughs, our 37ft 5ver had no problem. Bathroom showers are ok. Laundry is good. There is a small lake free fishing, didn’t fish. We stayed in the Thousand Trails side, it is a split park with KOA on the other side. Two dump stations, nice lodge/ spa and pool open. AT&T and Sprint were very good. At our site 144

    Albert's Landing

Clean, Friendly, Well Maintained RV Campground on the CDA River

Albert's Landing is a clean, well managed RV campground on the shores of the North Fork of the CDA River near Cataldo, Idaho.

The campground offers 60+ sites with water & 30\50 amp service, level gravel pads, picnic tables, and fire rings. There is nearly 1000' of river frontage, a camp store, and a river float shuttle. However, the campground does not currently have a septic dump, trash facilities, or showers, Those services will be available soon though.

The North Fork of the CDA River is a popular destination for river floating, fishing, and off road recreational activities.

Down the road from the campground is the historic Snake Pit restaurant. Highly recommend stopping in for their great food, atmosphere, and colorful history.

If you're planning to visit the North Fork of the CDA River, I highly recommend Albert's Landing.

    Sedlmayer's Resort & Campground

A great quiet campground on the lake front.

My wife accidentally came across this private campground, which turned into a great stay. Located in northern Idaho and right on Spirit Lake, this campground has 31 RV sites that can accommodate various sizes of RVs. Every site has 20, 30& 50 amp electrical service however, only sites 1 through 21 have sewer. If you need a pull-through site, then go with #14 through#19, or#21.

The campground has a lakeside restaurant, boat slips for campers, and a small general store. The area was well maintained and clean. There are numerous mature cedar trees providing shade and privacy throughout the campground. My only complaint is that only 5 fire pits are located throughout the campground. This campground seems to be a local known quiet gem worth checking out for family fun.
