Beautiful view

One mile of gravel road to the campground. All sites are gravel, mostly level. We had a site right on the point. Beautiful views of the lake and the Seminole mountains. The other side of the campground has a shallow bay with sand, sort of. It is great for kids to swim but bring shade. One day, we had no wind until dinner time. Another day, we had wind all day. Not good for awnings or if you don't secure your tent down. Spotty T-mobile service. But usable. You must make reservations online. The kiosk is for day use payments only.

Small campground in the middle of farmland

Nice smaller county campground surrounded by farmland and on a lake. Not very busy for early June. Gravel interior roads and campsites with power and water. No sewer or dump station. Pit toilets, clean. Sister campground across the bay. The only problem was the large number of voles running around and burrowing holes everywhere.

Nice smaller campground

We stayed one night as a stopover on a walkabout. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Clean restrooms and showers. 2/3 of the sites have a view of the lake. The wind often comes up in the afternoon and is there until after sunset, but the fishing looked great. Another camper offered us freshly caught trout as they had too much for their group. Lots of grass.
