A dirt driveway off a quiet back road takes you to a secluded 120'x80' field perfect for tents, hammocks, and RVs. There's enough room for small to medium size RVs and travel trailers to pull through / turn around.

Continue down the path to the back of the property where it opens up to a 200+ year old oak tree and large creek.

The property is a beautiful wooded 10 acres on a rainwater creek. There are small babbling brooks and waterfalls, walking trails, lake, and Georgia's best wildlife.

About 500ft down a trail into the beautifully cleared woods is this one room cabin off the grid, disconnected from the “creature comforts” to enjoy the peace and serenity of nature.

Experience the nostalgia of camping but inside a solid building. You get to enjoy the whole cabin, greenhouse spa room and bamboo composting outhouse to yourself.

There is a fire-pit to roast whatever you desire as well as a grill with utensils.

The greenhouse is covered and filled with beautiful flowers in the spring and summer.

Inside you will find a large soaking spa tub with a fully functioning cold water shower head. There are 2 sun heated camp showers in the greenhouse. These stay in the sun and warm through the day.

The super simple compost toilet outhouse gets the job done in the most environmentally friendly way while it is composting. Additionally it does not disturb the natural ecosystem of our local wildlife. Once full, we use it to fill spaces and garden soil on the property.

Parking is complimentary at the main house (where my family and I live full time) It is a short walk down the trail to the cabin. Bring your rain boots if rain is on the forecast. We do have some you can borrow in case of Atlanta's notorious downpours!

There are other guests and other animals on the property.

No electricity or running water but composting toilet outhouse with cold running water sink+ camp shower in the greenhouse spa room. I also bring and/or make available 3 gallons of boiling water in a warming tank per day.

During the winter you receive 2 tanks of propane for the camp heater and 1 long burn fire log per night. There is a Cabana and Fire pit as well as a grill with utensils. 6 charging ports, Wi-Fi and parking available at the main house. Walking trails, lake, and wildlife. You’re welcome to enjoy our 10 acres of trails with creeks and brooks.

This is not just a cheap overnight stay, it’s an experience. In order to keep the cost affordable to those who are truly looking for this type of experience, please be honest with yourself.

We care for each of our guests with everything we have, but this is an independent journey and exploration of nature in a safe space.

Here we disconnect from electricity and hot water.

According to the Cleveland clinic, researchers have found that taking icy showers may heighten your immune system and make you more resistant to illness.

The host/owner is a disabled Afghanistan veteran. We believe in and protect the rights of every American citizen. But we also love peace, nature, safety and all our babies - human or furry.

Georgia is a constitutional carry state. All guests who have weapons brought onto the property must notify us prior to arrival. The weapon must stay stored and secured during your stay as we are a family friendly and animal friendly property. We are in the middle of 4 subdivisions. This is not a safe place to shoot your weapon for recreation .

Also, this is Georgia and the cabin is in the woods. There are Georgia wild animals capable of showing up during your stay. Please do not shoot the animals.

Additionally, we have a few non-aggressive companion animals on the property. Please inform us if you are bringing an animals that may or may not be startled or agitated easily. They are still VERY welcome, but we want to take every measure to ensure everyone’s safety

Finally, if you’re coming here for a hotel stay, this is not the place to book. Poor reviews of this experience because of a lack of understanding diminish the purpose of the place we love.

Recommending that we spend more money on your comforts will more than likely price this location out of the budgets for those who choose to be frugal and intentional with it.

Why don't we use or have a/c?

Air Conditioning one of the single greatest contributors to global warming.

Think about it. Cool air in equals warm air out. The heat you “cool” had to go somewhere. That’s why when you stand next to the HVAC outside your house it’s blowing out hot air.

The cooler you make your house, the more heat you are releasing into the atmosphere. The hotter it gets outside, the more you need to cool down your house…ad nauseam.

Almost 90% of American homes use air conditioners, accounting for 6% of all the country's residential energy use. This air conditioning directly translates to a release of about 100 million tons of carbon dioxide every year.

As humans we have gotten accustomed to burning up the planet on both ends for our comfort.

Please, I beg you, do not come here if being hot in the summer and cold in the winter is unreasonable. Dress appropriately so you may enjoy the campsite.

Winter time recommendations: bring/wear a onesie type footed/hooded pajamas.

Summer time: bring loose fitting clothing, hop in the shower upon arrival, grab a cool drink and settle down in one of our hammocks.

Stone Mountain Park is also a short drive or bike ride from here, where there is hiking, paddling, golf, and amusement rides available. For a more local experience, the Pine Lake Beach is just a 1.5 miles away. It's a beautiful site for swimming and fishing.

Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature! 

Your Tentrr campsite includes a 10'x12' (120 square feet) safari-style canvas tent on a raised wooden platform. Inside the tent you'll find one queen bed with a memory foam mattress. The tent is big enough for the bed plus one or two extra sleeping bags on the floor. Aside from the canvas tent, campers can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that___s provided. You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs, and a heating source to keep you warm and toasty at night. 

Max Occupancy: This refers to the total number of campers allowed onsite with your reservation. 

Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. To use, line the bucket with a CleanWaste Sani-Bag supplied at the camp prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. CleanWaste Sani-Bags use a NASA-developed gelling/deodorizing agent that helps prevent spills and keeps everyone safe and clean.

Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.

Interaction with Guests:
Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location.

If a Tentrr Host submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the host's property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!

Reservation Modifications/Cancellations: Please note the terms of the cancelation policy as they are outlined in your confirmation email. Your Tentrr Host is unable to change or cancel your reservation on your behalf, and they are unable to waive any cancellation fees (if applicable). Campground is 48 acres in size and consists of open field, rolling hills, and woods. Pitch your tent wherever you wish. Can drive right to your tent site. Plenty of open room in the field for dry RV camping. Gasoline, diesel, full grocery store, several restaurants, auto parts, and hardware store all within three miles.

We have two full hookup RV site available. For tent campers, two community 110 outlets for charging phones, etc. are available. A community water spigot is available for tent campers and dry RV campers.

One with Nature is hidden in the heart of East Point, GA on the grounds of an repurposed industrial factory by the Atlanta rail system. This city is currently undergoing a $111 million dollar downtown transformation, which is only a 5-minute walk from the property.

Our operation is located on at the same location of the \*New\* Atlanta Utility Works. This mixed use area will encompass a hard kombucha Brewery brought to you by the mastermind of Cultured South Fermentation Co., Food Truck Kitchen (Coming Soon), Farm-to-Table Garden, and the Foundry Ruins (Wedding Venue - Coming Soon).

This property has some jaw dropping photo opportunities from the gentle passing of the train to the ceiling exposed atrium of the Foundry Ruins and the street art which compliments the surrounding structures.

This Glamp Camp is a mere 5-minutes from public transportation and downtown East Point. Its 10-minutes from the airport, so out-of-town guests are welcome to experience luxury glamping. Not to mention this location is close to the delectable eats of College Park, the bright lights of Tyler Perry Studios and beautiful parks.

This is one of the most convenient ways to experience glamping, because you are able to disconnect at the site, have access to all city amenities and no long excessive commute to property.

Other things to note:

Bathroom - Please expect to handle your business in nature. There is an outdoor restroom near camp with running water and composting toilet. We also have numerous port-a-potties on site with one dedicated for the use of glampers. Currently, our indoor restroom facility including shower is still under construction. We will keep you posted on progress.

We also provide adult sized personal sanitary wipes in the tents for your convenience.

Light Sleepers - There is a train that gently passes the property throughout the day. It never sounds the horn near the campsite and stops running at night. I find it to be rather relaxing and it makes for a good photo opportunity!

We are open for stays and disinfect everything and are supremely conscientious about cleanliness. We also practice social distancing and send check in instructions for zero contact. There is not a safer place than in the middle of our private bamboo forest! The Alpaca Treehouse is one of the most wish-listed Airbnbs in the world, honored to be featured in Netflix’s “Worlds Most Amazing Vaction Rentals” and Episode 9 on Netflix’s “Love is Blind.” We were on all Delta’s inflight commercials for a year. We were an Ultimate Treehouse 6 on “Treehouse Masters,” episode found on the Animal Planet website. Also featured on ABC’s Primetime TV Show, "Kevin Probably Saves the World," 3 episodes of the VH1 show "Love & Hip Hop." A multitude of music videos filmed here (Trey Songz and Mayday Parade were highlights), indie movies, loads of commercial videography, still photography, intimate events, and weddings. We are a rescue farm of rescued llamas, alpacas, chickens, dogs, and cats.

We have the ability to sleep 2 guests but PLEASE keep in mind this is a treehouse, not a tree-mansion. It’s a 12 x12 space with an 8 x12 loft. We have a queen sized mattress in the loft and a sofa on the main floor (not a sofa bed).

In our treehouse, you wake up on the queen size memory foam bed in a climate-controlled loft and peer out the large skylight at the swaying zen bamboo. Look to the Southern gable and take in the gorgeous jewel tones of the stained glass and see the bamboo through the French doors. Look to the forest floor to see grazing alpacas and llamas. We also have our beautiful and comfortable swinging rope bed (Bali bed) decked out with a slew of comfy pillows and a full sized mattress!



The treehouse is built with all reclaimed architectural antiques, so staying here is like living a jewel box, an art project. Roosters crow nearby because you are on a working farm, in City of Atlanta. You are 15 feet above the forest floor, tucked into the middle of a 80- year old bamboo forest. And there are beautiful Bolivian suri alpacas (like a small llamas with dreadlocks) roaming: Paloma Piper, Caitlin Tastee, Elfie Fay Von Picklesprite, and Sunny Shevoun. We also have five gentle, calm llamas named Dali Llama and Llama Mia Figaro (Figgy), Campari (camel colored), Sophie (bay brown), and baby llama Llyra wandering about grazing.



This treehouse was built with reclaimed architectural salvaged elements so you have the feeling you are in a historic room with the multi-colored walls of heart of pine beaded board. But the two skylights, with views of the bamboo canopy above, shed dappled light through the vaulted ceiling and remind you that's it's not the late eighteen hundreds. Some of the beaded board was reclaimed from Civil War era homes.



The treehouse features several pieces of turn of the century stained glass, heart of pine floors from an old nineteen oh five church, Victorian French doors that open onto a wrap- around catwalk, a composting toilet, heat and air, and electrical throughout. You'll want to sip your coffee or a glass of wine on the large treehouse porch, held up by black locust trees, still sporting their bark. Or maybe you'll want to walk around the deck of the tree house to check out the bamboo forest or the alpacas and llamas. The tree house roof is clad in eighteen sixty-one South Georgia barn tin, so if it rains, you'll have a night of gentle percussive rhythm (we sprayed insulation foam so the treehouse is energy efficient and the roof not too loud). Our stairs are live-edge heart cedar and quite beautiful.



The treehouse is wrapped in cedar trim and vintage heart of pine siding salvaged off an old Atlanta house (the porch, so it wasn't painted). We furnished our tree house in antiques and we have a composting toilet, a small fridge, a Keurig coffee maker, 3 gallons of potable water, and an antique enamelware wash basin to wash your face.



The fully functional (running water) marble bathroom is a short walk down a rustic path through the bamboo forest. The marble bathroom boasts a gorgeous walk-in shower, a "no rules" toilet, and a vintage restored sink.



Contact us if your also interested in having a wedding here (they are so magical), doing engagement photography, shooting music videos, hosting small events in the Bamboo Barn or shooting a television show. These have special rates and terms. But we are happy to accommodate.

Guest access

We have room to sleep 2 guests (over the age of 12) but keep in mind that the treehouse is small, a 12x12 with an 8x12 loft. We have a leather sofa (not a sofa bed) in the main room of the treehouse. And we have a Queen size memory foam bed in the sleeping loft again with high thread count sheets, a duvet, and sumptuous pillows. And some people sleep on our full sized Bali swinging rope bed beneath the treehouse. The treehouse boasts a private, green marble water closet with a composting toilet (pee-pee only), as well as a private, fully dedicated white marble bathroom with a gorgeous walk-in shower, an antique vitreous china sink, and modern toilet, located in the basement of our granite house nearby. We have a covered large tree house porch.

Parking for two cars is available at the alpaca corral--please pull up and park at the 1930s stove. There is a dedicated stone path that leads to the treehouse, in the middle of the bamboo forest. You may pet the animals on the neck (they hate their faces to be touched). They LOVE baby organic carrots. There is a dedicated stone flagstone path that leads to the private marble bathroom in the basement of the granite house--go under the treehouse and past the Bali Bed, up the railroad tie stairs and through the double gates. Follow the path to the bathroom.

Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.

Interaction with Guests:
Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location on the property. 

If a CampKeeper submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the CampKeeper___s property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!

Reservation Modifications/Cancellations: Please note the terms of the cancelation policy as they are outlined in your reservation confirmation on Airbnb. Your CampKeeper is unable to change or cancel your reservation on your behalf, and they are unable to waive any cancellation fees (if applicable).
