clean camping pads and quick access to river

I always enjoy staying overnight and enjoying a fire in the provided fire /cooking circle.

There is plenty of room for all my fishing tackle, coolers, and chairs in each spot. The area is very well kept and far out from large roads  so it is always quiet enough to hear the birds. Almost every time I camp here i see a bald eagle flying over the river.

a hidden gem

We found this campsite while looking for an overnighter while traveling.  We are on a motorcycle so we checked with Raven to make sure we would be good.  The roads are gravel but well maintained.  We had no problems getting in.  The spots are well maintained, no power or water, so be prepared.  For the price, you won't find a better campground.

Can’t wait to come back!

The owners Raven and Phillip are fantastic hosts! They were very easy to communicate with. They met us at the campground to make sure we knew where everything was and to see if we needed anything. We scheduled a kayak trip for Saturday, but needed to change the time. They were very accommodating. The campground was clean, the sites were extremely spacious. You could easily fit two 6 person tents. They have Ice and firewood available. You just grab it and either venmo Raven or drop money in the drop box. There is a nice hiking trail right across from site 1. There were plenty of trees around the sites to hang hammocks. They have 2 vault toilets, which are lit at night which is nice. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful Time

We camped 3 nights and also rented a Kayak. The Chattahoochee Outdoors family are awesome. We floated and hiked and had an amazing time. There are a lot of things to do if you are adventurous enough and love the outdoors like we do. We are normally private land secluded campers and avoid public campgrounds; however this one is so nice and spacious and CLEAN that we will definitely be back !

Great place

First off I would give this place a 4.5 if I could. They have 6 camp sites that all have a picnic table, fire pit and a large fine gravel plot for a tent. All the components are extremely well kept. There is a public boat launch to Chattahoochee river making it very convenient. They currently do not have running water or a shower house but they indicated they are trying to construct one soon. The owners were extremely helpful and attentive. We had a great time.
