Getting away

I would definitely recommend this place! Everyone here is so nice. We weren’t going to make it in time to check in, so we called ahead and the girl on the phone helped us out and told us they would leave our registration on the window at the visitor center. The camp host was so helpful and nice!…

Hilton Head Island SWEET spot

This is a great location on HHI. The sites are level, landscaped and private. There are full hook ups including WiFi and cable. We liked it so much we stayed for an extra week. There are water views from some sites. It is very pet friendly. There are 2 pools and a tennis court. One of the best…

They have it all!

This is a great, quiet destination near Savannah with a gated entrance. This is a newer camp so the trees do not yet provide much shade. The is the only negative I can write. The camp is quite large with roomy sites, some on the lake and some not. There is a store, fitness center, business center,…

A good stop-over or to visit Savannah

The staff are nice, but mostly ignore you as they ride around the grounds. The campground is nice and clean and right on a lake with a multitude of waterfowl including a large number of swans. We love staying here when we visit family in the area. It's good for long-term or for short stays; and the…

Beautiful and serene

As far as state campgrounds go, this is a beautiful one. Quiet and the river backing up to it. Not launches, kayaks and canoe rentals, the even offer life jackets for you to borrow right at the lunch site. The deer walked right up to the camp sites. Plenty of shade and peaceful just to rest and…

Amazing RV Marina Resort

Spectacular RV resort. Waterfront site is gorgeous…spacious, peaceful, serene, secluded, and private. On the other hand, it has all water sports amenities that you can think of (kayaks, jet skis, boats, paddleboards, etc.). Short drive to HH beaches and the tourist areas, as well as Savannah. Will…

KOA Excellence

If you are looking for a pleasant greeting, clean roomy sites, lots of pull threw sites, full hookups, garbage pick up, pool, game room, swans, cabins of all sizes, this park is for you.

The only thing that may bother some is the road noise from I-95.

This park has a lot of very nice cabins of…

Nice amenities but not so good on customer service and satisfaction

I would not say I am not going to stay here again because I really enjoyed the Lazy River and the pool bar. The amenities were great. However, there were several disappointments. First off, I emailed the resort to get some needed information for our trip. Someone did respond to my first email but…

Great spot!

We had a great time here, there is something for everyone! Nature walks, fishing, a playground, an old civil war mound fort! The deer didn’t seem to be that afraid of people anymore and they came straight through our campground. Toilets/showers were clean and staff was friendly and informative.

Beautiful!

Sites have lots of room, and they are nice and private. The visitor's center is gorgeous with activities in the summer as well as bike rentals. Lots of clean bathrooms with showers and laundry facilities.

Skidaway Getaway

We booked site 61 at Skidaway Island State Park for our first trip to Savannah. It was a convenient location for experiencing the low country.

We called ahead because we knew we’d arrive after hours. The staff was helpful and completed the check in process over the phone. She hung out tag at our…

Great spot to enjoy the beauty of coastal Georgia

Skidaway Island State Park is a terrific spot conveniently located on the Diamond Causeway outside Savannah. We stayed here for 3 nights and found something fun and different to do each day of our stay. Whether you’re looking to do some hiking, biking, or kayaking on the intercostal, Skidaway has…
