Spacious Skies Savannah Oaks

This place is the worst Ive ever stayed at. The office and pool look great. Nothing else does. It looks and feels sketchy and unsafe. If you get stuck anywhere near that highway you will get no sleep. The traffic is constant day and night, loud trucks and speed limit is 55 mph so it like sleeping in the middle of the interstate. We've slept better at a rest area or truck stop. The park feels dirty and dingy, the one side of the park has an 8 ft section of the fence busted out. The only landscaping is at the office. Save your money and find somewhere else or go to a rest area.

We stayed in December, and it was a last-minute reservation. Front desk was super nice and you can see the improvements they are making to the grounds. We felt very welcomed here. Road noise is present if you're towards the front. But, it wasn't keeping us up at night. Will stay again for sure.

DO NOT STAY HERE! We have been travelling across the US all year and this is by far the worst campground we have stayed at. It’s so run down with a disgusting pool and very unhelpful staff. We had to leave due to a very sick kiddo and despite giving two days notice they refused to refund any money leaving us hundreds of $$ out of pocket. Please avoid.

They are very nice here. I made my reservation over the phone for three days. Ended up getting caught in over an hour of standstill traffic on the first day and missed my check in. Was too late to cancel. I called to let them know that I would miss my check in but still wanted to keep the other two days of my reservation. Without even asking they canceled the day I would miss and moved my check in to the next day, saving me money. Was very kind.

The pull ins are nice and shady, and pretty level. The staff are nice. A great quite place.

Note: they don’t allow conversion vans. I have a professionally built van, which they made a one time exception for, but van lifers aren’t normally allowed to stay here.

Quiet with lots of trees and Spanish moss and paved roads to walk and secure and pull through sites. Bathrooms dated but clean.

The park was beautiful, pull through spot with shade and close to the playground. We only stayed 1 night as they rented our spot. That was the only disappointment. I should have reserved the sight for 2 or 3 days when I booked it!

This RV park is a basic very basic RV park. Although they offer full hook up it’s very marginal. I would suggest not getting a site in the front of the park since it’s close to a very highly traveled road and noisy. I would probably try another campground if I were to travel to Savanna again.

Wooded roomy gravel sights with full hookups. Adequate individual toilet/sink/shower (2 of 3 locked undoubtedly due to low census at present. Well-kept grounds. Small onsite store and playground. A bit of a drive into the city.

Very quiet and peaceful campground tucked away, but still close enough to enjoy Savannah and the beach. Sites are wide and we had full hookups. Enjoyed the dock and seeing the wildlife. There is a small alligator and a bunch of yellow bellied sliders. The trees provide enough coverage that we were protected from the afternoon sun. Little store was clean and well stocked and everyone we met was friendly. If we come back to this area we would definitely stay again.

The park needs a lot of work. The bathrooms have been updated but no toilet paper so bring your own. The dog park grass hasn’t been cut in weeks. The park is in a great location and good for a one night stay.

Pretty large place, very organized, export to your site, pool, plenty of shade, decent price. The only problem we having is the humidity ! 83 ! The staff is very nice to .

Very nice campground, with the campsites dispersed within the trees. The campsites are a bit close, and there are some obvious maintenance issues. Unfortunately the pool was closed when I was there, unsure why. The bathhouse I used was recently updated and clean, the laundry area was clean but the majority of the machines were broken. There's a nice store that's part of the campground, is also fishing and a boat ramp, Wi-Fi was available but not very fast.

What a fabulous location. So close to the 95. Easy drive through spots and all the amenities of home. Including a convenience store, laundry, a fishing river, security gates, easy check in, dog park, even video games. The best part is that it sets next to the Savannah Ogeechee Canal Museum. What a beautiful picturesque place for a walk/ hike. It really looks like a place out of the movies. Worth the $5 admission. There are a couple negatives to the campground. The spots are in incredibly close to one another. Absolutely no privacy. Also, If you are near the road, you will be surprised by the morning traffic sounds. However, if it’s just a night or two it’s a great stopover!

We almost melted in the humidity but this place is gorgeous. The moss on the oak trees awesome. Fishing( there was a gator!!!!), basketball, horseshoes & Savannah!!!

Needs some TLC. Ok for a night stop on our way to Florida. Newly remodeled bathrooms are nice. Sites very close to each other.

We just spent one night here. Nice and quiet. We had a great shaded spot. Bathhouses were clean. Nice area to walk. Only draw back for us was the closeness of the sites.

Great campground love all the Spanish moss hanging in the trees throughout the campground. Had to rent a fire pit for $50 which you get refunded if you buy 3 bundles of wood. WIFI was very weak but free. Had nice restrooms with free showers. Friendly staff, definitely would recommend this campground

Awesome campground, they escort you to your site! You have to rent a fire pit for $50 but if you buy 3 bundles of wood you get your money refunded. Love all the Spanish moss on the oak trees throughout the campground. Highly recommend it

It’s old and appears to not have funds invested back into the property. Choose Creekfire just up the street if possible.
