Quick 2 night stay

Stayed in key west area. You can tell it was just opened because grass is still growing in. Staff was wonderful.

Great Weekend

SRR does not disappoint. We stayed in the river front area which was a bit more feral than the RV park but offers more charm & shade. The dining area/general store is amazing & clean with tons of free puzzles & board games which saved our sanity on Saturdays 12-hour downpour. Also pets are allowed everywhere except in the shower or in the pool area which was amazing. Made the weekend so much easier.

Lot to do

Two sections: we stayed at the lower section which has nice sandy site under the trees. Higher section is a large standard RV park. Lot to do (spring, river, playground, pool, spa, etc.). Fair price. Would stay again.

Second Time

This was our second visit in about 6 years- I know but gap but we still love it. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the grounds are kept clean, the bathrooms are nice. We did the primitive camping no power no electric, but they have spaces with it and RV sites, the primitive sections just have more privacy than those. My sites didn’t have great level spots for a tent but it was right next to the spring and close to the river for fishing which is why we came. Hubs caught a catfish on his birthday- it was a great time. They have a heated pool and are expanding.

This place is camp owning goals

They have everything! Pool, hot tub, tvs, pigeons, chicken, primitive spots, rv spots, laundry, you could live here all year. Their lodge and resturaunt is cute. Their employees are friendly. They have a spring too and we camped right on the river.

Great river & springs access

First time here. Love it, will be back for sure. Great river/springs access. Great for kayaking/tubing or boating. Great dog areas. Food is good on the weekends, live music, very poor wifi. Spots by the dog park don’t have shade but most of the other sites do. Lots of fun activities. Great bike path just off property. Friendly staff. Site 212 was 50 amp only so I had to use a converter. Can rent kayaks on site if you don’t own one.

Lots of fun family activities!

Big family campground with pool, private spring, boat ramp, and kayak rentals. We did the 6 mile kayak trip and stopped at 3 springs which was AWESOME. Restaurant wasn’t open when we were there, but they have a small shop for essentials. Lots of weekend activities and quieter during the week.

Best memories

I can’t say enough about the staff and experience we had here! Everyone was extremely kind and went above and beyond. The activities are completely out of the ordinary BUT completely unforgettable!!! We have some of the best camping memories here that we will never forget…and that’s what camping is all about! Can’t wait to go back. 5 🌟

Lots of amenities

This place is great whether you are a tent camper, trailer camper or have an RV. They even have A motel and cabins to rent. If you like activities there are plenty. Anything from kayaking and bike riding to pigeon races and fishing. A lot of the tent sites are along the Suwannee River. Great views! My only complaint is it can use some updating. But they are trying!

Great family park.

Clean individual bathrooms. Pool area is nice. High water has the spring covered up so can't comment on that. Playground for the kids. Wifi all over the park. Booked a second stay while on the property.

Quirky and active riverside RV community

SRRR is a 40 acre park with country-clever DIY vibes and unusual artifacts including a handmade automated bowling alley in an abandoned chicken coop with mechanical levers that return balls and reset pins, weekly events ranging from chicken shit bingo to pigeon racing, a dog park, and a cozy spring-side divey lodge-like restaurant. Despite its name, convict spring is a beautiful clear fresh water spring, best appreciated in winter when no kids are kicking up dirt in it. I have tent-camped in a lovely prim spot beside the river and also RV camped with my Skoolie here. I adore the beauty of the location, spring-side on the broad Suwannee River, but had to subtract one star for the horrendously bad and unwelcoming (verging on foreboding) service at the cafe, and disappointment that the hot tub was closed both times we visited. Will def return to this spot.

Fun campground

We stayed at site 105 (full hook-up, $45 per night) and it was perfect 👌 Neighbors only on one side, close to pool and a short walk to Convict Spring. Catch & release pond for fishing is also super close. Friday night bingo and Saturday has pigeon races, chicken poo 💩 bingo and trivia/karaoke. You can rent kayaks or canoes to take up the Suwannee River. Very dog 🐕 friendly; our Goldens loved swimming in Convict Springs. We will definitely be back!!

Meh

So this is the redneck riviera and there are tons of kids, Trump and confederate flags, and flies, plus the twice a day cow paddy smell. The roads are narrow and water diveted going down to the river, the springs smells like tadpoles, and the kayak launch was a diveted dirt road that looks real sad. For this price in the middle of nowhere, the WiFi sucks and the water pressure is often like 5 psi. We didn’t use any facilities but absolutely NO ONE was social distancing in the office, pool or really anywhere. Won’t be back.

Wish I could give this place 10 stars

Just visited for our first time this week. It is absolutely our favorite campground of all now. The lower section has dispersed tent camping right on the river underneath beautiful big oak trees. Couldn’t even imagine a better campsite! They’ll take you pretty much anywhere you want on the river so you can kayak or canoe and visit the variety of natural springs in the area. Our second night ended up being pretty scary with tornado warnings but the staff came down to get us and opened up the lodge after hours for us to shelter in during the storm. Honestly I couldn’t imagine a better campground.

Upper is spacious, bath house has no air conditioning which is BAD in summer. Folks are real friendly and staff is great.

Unique

This is my husband and my second stay here. The town of Mayo is a small quite town so it is advisable to have your provisions, as it is approximately 45 minutes to most shopping. The upper level sites are spacious and clean with the lower level more rustic. We love the restaurant, the spring, the entertainment, and the unique.....to say the least, weekend games/activities. EVERYTHING is dog friendly. That is a big plus for us as our westie dog Mojo goes everywhere with us.
We come here to "get away from it all" and chillax.

Suwanee River RIGHT ON!!!

This is a really family friendly campground. We try and go 4-5 times a year and each time NEVER disappoints. It not only sits on Convict Springs, but on the Suwanee River as well. In addition to having chicken poop bingo and pigeon races (yes, those are real things! LOL) They also have regular bingo, karaoke and live music. There are RV spots, tent camping, hotel rooms, motel rooms, cabins and houses.
