Basic but good campground

Morro Bay is a great place and we enjoyed it a lot. The campground is not far from the town (perfect biking distance) which was great. The campground itself is a large flat area with campsites. Not a lot of privacy. Coin showers are a little bit outdated

Good location - no space

The location is nice and th spark is easily accessible from the highway. Waterfront sites. However you do not get much privacy and we felt that there were too many RV in such a small space.

Pricey but good

We had a Mountain View site but you can still enjoy the view on the ocean. The parking is a challenge when the park is busy.

Ocean view

It was first time camping by the Pacific Ocean and we loved it. Great waterfront site. We had the last site which was very private. There is a small shop/cafe with live music. Lovely place

Luxurious place

Luxurious amenities (for our standards) and nice grassy site. Visited in May and the park was 90% empty. We enjoyed our stay here and relax in the spa!

Quiet campground

We liked it there. Nice site with some shade from the rocks. We had a hard time to level our trailer though.

Death valley

We stayed here to visit the Death Valley. It is a gravel lot close to the casino. Shower/bathrooms are inside the casino building. Convenient option in the middle of the desert.

Charming

Camp among the rocks in this pretty campground. Amenities okay. The state park is a must see!

Gravel area- quite and safe

Large gravel area (there is space for everyone) close to the road. Very accessible.

NP with electricity

Large site with electric hook up. Next to the entrance of the park and some shops (incl. a brewery). Close to the visitor center and the shuttle stop. Has everything you can look for except if you are not looking for wilderness and remote camping.

6 stars?

For the first time, I would give 6 stars to a campground. The location is scenic, the sites are private and gorgeous, hike from the campground to beautiful places, you can buy firewood next to the bathroom…

And the showers are the same than in a boutique hotel at $1000 per night..

What we were looking for

Hook up, good amenities, close to the national park. We had a nice grassy site between cabins. Overall a good RV park.

Beautiful and remote

A lot of possibilities for dispersed camping right next to the river, by the lake (or what is left of the lake), or in other locations, the drive is gorgeous and the remoteness makes a great place for an overnight place

Good stay

Good location and amenities. Indoor pool, market on site, laundry. Nice view on monument valley. It has more appeal than the KOA.

Location is key

We needed hook-up and choose the trailer village over the Mather campground. Location is perfect but the campground itself is nothing special.

Great stay

We stayed 4 nights to explore Sedona. Campground in the forest between the creek and the highway. Beautiful. Friendly hosts.

State park

Electric and water hookup. Large sites. Close for the I40. Definitely a good option to explore the area or for an overnight stay on the I40.

Free little campground

Only a few site first come first serve. Free and beautiful.

KOA - close to highway

Ok KOA conveniently located. Bathtub is good. Wifi was not working. Comfortable option but overall pricey for what you get.

City RV park

Ok if you need to stay close to Santa Fe. Correct place. A little bit price for an overnight stay.
