Nice small campground

It’s quiet, peaceful. Sites are large, fire rings, picnic tables, grass! Not well lit, no bath house, no propane, no pool. They have plenty of ideas though.

A plesant Suprise and great stop

We were looking for a stopover in northern Florida and discovered this great little park while reading camping reviews.  The previous reviews were spot on, and we found the owners to be great folks who are chasing their dream of a great camping facility.  It seems to be in the middle of nowhere when you look at the map, but we found it to be a great jumping off point for day visits to the different States Parks and Springs in the area.  Roadways and lots were graveled but sites were level and well maintained.  There is no bath house at this time, but the owners have plans to eventually build one.  The park has power, water and sewer hookup at each site.  Most sites are pull-thru with plenty of personal space.  The only downside would be the lack of shad, but trees have been planted.  A word of advice for those using google maps or gps, the entrance is off the main highway, not a narrow lane at the back of the property.  We definitely will return in the future.
