Rustic CCC campground. Far from the road no noise or light pollution yet only 5-10 minutes to the supermarket. Clean Bathrooms, small loops.
Far down a dirt road and very quiet you wouldn't know you were that close to the interstate. Only complaint would be the distance the dumpsters are from the CG
Spaced out sites, long road in so no outside noise, bathrooms could use heat in the fall/winter time.
CG away from main state park. Private campers only swim area is nice. Limited Cell reception.
Quiet woodsy spread out CG small loops so always close to the bathhouse. Dirt sites ours was level. Cell service was good. CG about a mile from the Springs and playground. Springs and Playground are very nice but very busy on the weekends. Publix is less than 5 minutes of you forget something.
Large spread out sites, shade, super clean bathrooms, easy in and out. No wonder it's hard to book.
Historic CCC Park so dated facilities but nice rustic layout. We stayed in Magnolia loop which has a playground in the center which is nice. Bathhouse was clean but they did have sewage problems and had a roped open pit when we went.
Nice park gets slammed in the weekends with day use guests. Private gate for campers is a plus. Sites are spread out and wooded. Bathhouse is always super clean. Springs are beautiful.
Only issue is you're close to the highway so you get a lot of road noise. Other than that very nice park with newer facilities.
1 giant loop very shaded sites. River down one side so bugs could be a bit much in the late summer. No playground for the kids. Bathrooms were some of the cleanest I've seen. Tmobile had full service.
Large paved sites. Clean bathrooms. Price has gotten a little high but at least they have Wifi near bathhouses now. On the weekends campers aren't allowed to park near the spring and have to walk the mile to it.
Secluded and quiet yet only 8 miles to Walmart. Spacious sites, clean rest rooms/showers. Beautiful spring. Only downfall was the dumpsters weren't on the loop so have to drive your trash.
Sites are not level and hook ups are in weird locations. Very close the spring. Bathhouse is shared with the day use people.
Hard to believe this is in the city feels very wild. Spread out very large sites, wildlife, lots of trees and shade. Bathrooms were top notch always clean and showers were spacious. Plenty of places to bike and hike and 2 playgrounds for the kids. In between 2 lake so plenty of fishing, boating, kayaking available. No more swimming allowed. Only downside we had was some campers sped down the dirt road and the yellow flies were out.
Clean individual bathrooms. Pool area is nice. High water has the spring covered up so can't comment on that. Playground for the kids. Wifi all over the park. Booked a second stay while on the property.
Nice clean quiet park. Bathrooms are nice but a hike from some sites. Sites are paved but ours wasn't completely level. Staff was friendly. We had fire ants at our site and they came and to care of it very quickly. My only complaint was the boat ramp across the street was under construction and nothing said that online.
Facilities are dated but clean and close to everything.
First very limited cell service. That's about the only gripe. Very spacious spread out sites all paved and level. All sites are Back-in and angled which is nice.
1 loop park with sites on both sides circling a big field. Nice for the kids to play in but no shade. Bathrooms were clean. If you head to the springs it's a long walk so we always bring the golf cart.
