With over 1/3 acre of dedicated riverfront property on the Santa Fe River, you’ll have all the peace and quiet you can handle in this single spot campsite. The campsite was purpose-built for friends and family who come to visit this slice of paradise we call home. Ideally located in the heart of spring country in North Central Florida, we have over 18 major springs within a 50-mile radius of this location, which allows for all the outdoor exploration and watersports you desire. With tubing, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, swimming, boating, and fishing available within feet of the campsite, you can stay nearby or venture out to some of the best springs in the world.  

  

Boaters– Private boat ramp is 200 yards up the road on the Santa Fe, public boat ramps within 10 miles on the Santa Fe and Suwannee rivers.  

  

Tubers– Tube the private section of the crystal-clear Ichetucknee river accessible only by the homeowners via our 3 waterfront parks. Both get-out parks are within walking distance to the campsite for your convenience.  

  

Paddlers– Paddle the Santa Fe or Ichetucknee rivers from within the neighborhood, or if the time of year is right, venture up to the Ichetucknee State Park to paddle the head waters and north entrance. This is limited in season and numbers to keep the impact on the river to a minimum.  

  

Swimmers– Swim the Santa Fe or Ichetucknee rivers from within the neighborhood via our 9 waterfront parks(6 Santa Fe, 3 Ichetucknee) or venture to either entrance of the Ichetucknee River State Park just a few miles away.  

  

Nature lovers– Explore the unspoiled conservation areas within the neighborhood that can be hiked and explored. Setup a hammock and sit by the river and watch all your worries wash away, you may get to see the occasional manatee.  

  

Whatever your passion, this campsite accommodates it with electric(50/30/15), water, picnic table, concrete firepit, clothesline and plenty of room to spread out. The neighborhood is golf-cart and UTV friendly and has lots of dirt roads to explore. The deer can be found quite easily every morning and evening while riding around and rarely run away from the vehicles.

4A River Camp

Gibson Park is a county owned Park in Hamilton County Florida located between Jasper Florida and Live Oak Florida on SW County Road 751.  Located on the Suwannee River the park has a public boat ramp with a protected channel that leads into the Suwannee River.   For hikers Gibson Park is a designated Trail Head of the Florida Trail  and also for canoers and kayakers  located on the Suwannee River Wilderness Trail. It has 13 campsites for RV campers or tents with electric and water hook ups. 10 campsites with 30 amp hook up and water and 3 camp sites with 15 amp hookup.  These sites are $22.00 per night with 50% discount for seniors, US Military Veterans or disabled persons. Primitive tent camping without electric and direct water hook up is $5.50 per night. Rest rooms and showers ( hot warm or cold) are available for no additional charge.  Filtered water ( 5 stage filter system including UV light sanitation) is available at host site free of charge.

The Idea Farm, Agritourism Destination

The Woods Ferry tract features a canoe launch and the first river camp on the Suwannee River Wilderness Trail. The river camp provides 5 sleeping platforms, a picnic pavilion, restrooms with hot showers, and a tent camping area.

The Jerry Branch tract is a primitive recreation site.

Visitors may enjoy biking, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, and wildlife viewing on administrative roads.

Woods Ferry

On the Holton Creek tract, visitors may enjoy fishing, as well as biking, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, and wildlife viewing on administrative roads. Hunting is for persons who are mobility-impaired. 

The Holton Creek River Camp is the second river camp between White Springs and Branford and provides 5 screened shelters, a picnic pavilion, restrooms with hot showers, and a tent-camping area.

Clear your mind with clear night skies and clear waters. This is NOT a site next to our house. Our property is located in Three Rivers Estates a neighborhood of large mostly wooded recreational parcels at the convergence of the Ichetucknee and Santa Fe Rivers. Access to the private parks included with the rental. The entrance to Ichetucknee State Park is only 4 miles from the property and access to the neighborhood parks on the lower Ichetucknee is 1.8 miles away. The property is on the Santa Fe River which is dotted with public and private springs, boasts tubing, boating and kayaking opportunities and terminates into the historic Suwannee River. Our two acre parcel is park-like, leaving lots of room for activities and fun and providing an expansive view of the river. Horseshoes and a disc golf hole are provided, kayaks and tubes are available on site for an additional rental fee. Three fire pits are available, one at each of the RV pads and one by the river. There is also a national park quality charcoal grill at the point of the property near the fire pit and seating for 6 on the covered boat dock. Bring your boat. We prefer to rent to one group at a time. Send us a private message and let us know if you need more space and would like to add on the second site.
