ScoutTim and Leisha were the best! Great campsite close to Disney is what we wanted.. clean and well organized. They make you feel at home and they even invited us to dinner at the pool and provided all the food. I will definitely be going back when I’m in town. They loved our kiddos too!

The RV sites themselves are very tight and closely packed, with little privacy and a strong semi-permanent resident vibe that doesn’t lend itself well to families looking for a friendly, communal camping experience. One moment that really crystallized things for us was watching the boys step out of the truck, look around at the cramped setup and uneven roads, and quietly ask if this was where we were staying for the night, which told us everything we needed to know. From what we saw, there isn’t a standout best site here, as most feel equally constrained and exposed to traffic within the park. We would not recommend Intercoastal Retreat for families, but instead would point families to Willow Lakes Golf & RV Resort, which sits just down the road and offers a far more welcoming layout, smoother infrastructure, and an overall experience that feels intentionally designed for families looking for nicer amenities.

During my visit, the beach access was closed for construction, but the next access point is a short drive away. As expected during the summer...hot, humid, and "buggy". Side note, its a bit of a drive to the nearest grocery store, so come prepared.
TravelerThe only reason I gave it 4 stars was for lack of security. It’s not a gated RV park. Everything else is wonderful. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Love the trees and concrete drive thru spaces! Large spaces for your car and bikes. For the fur babies they have lots of disposable spots with bags for clean up. Nice size pool shaded by the trees in the evening from the West Sun. This is our first stay here and it’s been extremely great and quiet. Much more peaceful than we initially thought.
