First night staying here. Came here to fish during the day, stayed fishing until after sunset. Noticed a few van lifers throughout the day. As night came I could tell a few were staying. Making conversation with the locals while we were fishing and they said there’s always a few campers here every night. The locals said there used to be “No Overnight Parking” signs but they took them down in the last year. He claimed all the causeways are this way. After sunset the local car and motorcycle enthusiasts (kids) like to hang out here under the bridge and listen to their exhaust. They all parked furthest to the east so camp on the west end. It’s a Sunday night and the locals said they usually clear out by 11-12 and the local sheriff will cruise through and most will leave then. I currently have a beautiful view of the harbor and 50 or so sailboats anchored. I’ll tolerate the noise for the view in the morning and add another review of how the night went.
Morning Update The noise quick around 10-10:30pm, peaceful all night, nobody bothered us, I woke to a beautiful sight and 3 other vans that spent the night. Will stay here again.
