River Dance

Driving through the Vail valley and we needed a place to cam. No answer on the phone but when we arrived there was a number on the door for the weekend attendant. Reasonable price Kids loved playing frisbee in the field and swimming in the river. Just had some construction and sewers aren’t hooked up at sites but there is a dump station. Showers are clean as are the bathrooms. Highway is nearby but not too much noise at all. Couldn’t hear it over the fan running.

Showed up late after driving through vail valley. This made for a nice stop. Kids were happy to play in the field and win in the river. Showers were nice and clean. Price was reasonable No one answered the published number but when we arrived there was a weekend attendants number on the door and he helped immediately. Cell service is poor No WiFi it got broken during construction they said. No sweat hookups at sites yet they are working on that.

We arrived late at night after looping down through Fairplay, Breckenridge, and Vail after i-70 was closed. My wife found the title of this place funny, and I decided to call it quits for the night at midnight. She gave this park a call a quarter-to and a groggy guy picked up and told us to just pull into one of the sites 9-21 and handle the rest with the weekend attendant in the morning. There's not many trees and what seems like some longer term "campers" but the restrooms are relatively clean as well as the shower facilities. If you need a quick stopover on your way to Utah, you could certainly do worse.
