Fantastic Views All Around

Great location, easy on and easy off. A bit tight thru the turns to your site if you have a big rig but the views are worth it. The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. Well maintained and clean overall. Would definitely stay again

Great Location

We arrived on a Tuesday in September to find only 3 other sites occupied in the whole campground. The campsites were all well maintained and several had great views of Canon City. Royal Gorge is o ly a 7 min drive, and Canon City was 15. Pit toilets were pretty standard, and a camp host was…

Great Campground close to downtown sights

We stayed here to enjoy MS. Level campsites with gravel. We had a 30 amp site that backed up to a stream. Took bus to DT for dinner bus’s dropped us of at the campsite.

Quick trip

I believe it was spot 14 on the edge of the park, plenty of room, quiet, great location. Full hookup, easy reservations over the phone, no problem getting in or out.

Nice stop over

Looking for somewhere to camp later in the evening on a Sunday. This city campsite looks pretty new. They have level pads engineered for tents and a metal picnic table. There is also a firepit with a grill.

Beautiful views and plenty of (short-ish) trees. A hiking trail starts in the campground…

Awesome spot for camping with toddlers!!

I took my 3 1/2 year old here for her first camping adventure and we had a great time! It was easy to find and the dirt road is well kept. We found a great spot on a Saturday around noon and it was a perfect distance away from everything. It's about 5 minutes(1.2 mi) from the Royal Gorge bridge and…

Just okay

We chose this campground because it was our maiden voyage with our new travel trailer and we just wanted to test the functionality of everything. It’s old but we’ll maintained, tons of wasps and biting black flies though. Sites are dirt and about half the lots are flat and the rest need serious…

A very clean, quiet, and beautiful camping area.

Sept. 8-10, 2021 stay: Such a nice campground! Many sites are right along the creek and it was really flowing and creating some nice "white noise". It's the cleanest campsite we have ever stayed in, and in such a beautiful canyon to boot. Other than just getting away and relaxing, my wife and I…

Perfect spot for us!!

Everyone has different likes but for us it was perfect!!! Rustic and still has that dry camping feel. Wifi is weak but why go camping if you need wifi. Spaces are close but not to close. If you want space to camp, why go to a campground, go dry camp. Staff and hosts are friendly, hosts brought…

Great view campground

The campground has a great view of the city and the mountains, the installations are the best showers bathrooms etc. We will definitely stay in this park again.

For just one night, might be paying for amenities you never get to use

This was our first time in a KOA (I realize they run the gamut) but we were overall very happy.  We just stayed for one night on our way up to Estes Park, but I wanted a level sight with minimal setup hassle and full hookup.  We got that and more.

There are a LOT of amenities here.  We DID…

Kettle Creek Campground

We stayed at the Kettle Creek Campground in the Northern Plains area of Pueblo Lake 8/27-8/29 2021.  We found that this campground is all about knowing the spots.  You can walk down to the water from many campsites but some you have to find your own path.  We were in a very crowded swimming/boating…
