Big rigs should scout the road before committing, since turnaround space at the end is limited when sites are full. Sites are spaced well apart, and reviewers consistently note that crowding has not been a problem. "Super quiet with beautiful views overlooking the Mesa," writes Eat · See · RV L., who has stayed here twice in large rigs. Cell service is listed as available. No hookups exist.
The campground closes seasonally, reportedly from December through April due to elk habitat designation, so spring and summer visits are the reliable window. Linda J. notes plainly: "No toilet, garbage bins, picnic tables or views," which sets accurate expectations for the no-frills experience.
