Well if you want to pay $26 for a very weedy, sun only lot, crammed amongst many RV’s with no toilet and no water, here is your place to camp. First time to Yosemite. We were very overwhelmed with all the rules, all the people, and the limited information the Rangers gave you while entering the…
If you want to get a campground anywhere near Yosemite be sure to be at the camp ground right when they open at 5am otherwise you’re not gonna camp anywhere
Crowded but awesome location, close to all of the iconic sites in Yosemite Valley.
Narrow drive and sharp turns in the campground so we didn't camp with our RV but we did tent camp. There were smaller RVs there and plenty of camper vans. The sites are spacious and in the pines. Great location in the valley. Can walk everywhere or bike everywhere in the valley. AT&T service…
Camped here one night. Was coming from thousand island lake heading to tuolumne meadows. Found it by accident, was in a rush to find a spot before it got dark. Place was amazing. Perfect to watch a sunset , it overlooks the valley
This place is perfect for ppl that want to experience Yosemite and still have commodities. The cabins or tents provided are clean and have everything you need. Showers restrooms etc the food in the cafeteria is also good. Parking is good and easy and the location is close to many trails

So far this is the nicest place ive ever camp at from all my backpacking trips. Cant beat lake with the mountain in the background, tranquillity and spacious area. Only con can be mosquitoes. Other than that this place is a must to visit
The views of the lake from this campground are stunning. The sites are small and tents have to be on the gravel pad. Clean pit toilets but couldn’t located the potable water.
Arrived mid morning on a Saturday in Mid June and was able to secure a site.
Walked down to the lake and spent time swimming. Trails around the campground are fun and we saw lots of deer. The campground itself was pretty dusty dew to the drought and not much shade in our site. Ordered pizza from Shaver Pizza Parlor and it was Yummy. Boat rentals are available, but we fished…
Great lil spot with great views of the mountains and meadows... No shade + Gets hot in summer
. Was 8$ per night. Tmobile had good cell service.
PROS: Beautiful!, Easy access to purchasable firewood, Bear Boxes at every site, well kept bathrooms with flush toilets and sinks, wind guards at some sites, near a lake, amazing starry night sky, general store nearby, Shell & Mobile Gas nearby, showers & laundry nearby

We rented an RV and had it delivered to the campsite and set up; all sites have electric hookups and water spigots nearby, but one loop has full RV hookups at each spot. We were very close to the lake, just a short walk, and it's beautiful. Super clear, relaxing sounds, easy trails all along. It…
Up on the foothills, this expansive campground is in a nice, peaceful setting. Exposed to the elements, it was quite windy with no shade the 2 days we stayed there, except for the nice little shelters on each site. Most of the sites are by reservation only but one loop is first-come. Wonderful…
We drove down and back up Green Creek Rd for about 2 hours to find the perfect spot. We settled on the second space as it’s pretty tucked back and offers a front row seat to the creek. The road was windy and very bumpy. At times, the bottom of my sedan was brushing against some bushes. This is…
