ScoutGood campsite located right by eagle Rock and 10 mins from Tahoe City. There's a stream that follows the dirt road by the campground and therea a picnic area 30 yards from the campsite directly on the lake. Only downside was being pretty close to the main road around the lake.
ScoutI stayed one night in my 19 foot travel trailer. The spots aren’t big enough for much larger rigs. Lots of tint campers as well. Nice location. You can walk down to the lake Forest boat ramp and there’s a beach where you can go swimming it’s only 2 miles from Tahoe city $30 a night no hook up and porta potties but a great location.
Guideour visit was great. we had an event to go to the following day, so we needed to be able to shower. this campground was perfect. far enough below Tahoe City to be quiet, yet close enough to be able to go into town for any necessary supplies (about 15 minutes) dogs are allowed, fairly close to the beach, showers, water, fire pits and roomy sites with shrubs or trees separating campsites.

GuideSpent a great couple of night here in June. Some of the sites back onto cabins and we were worried they would be noisy at night, but we didn't hear a thing.
The hosts and rangers were really friendly and helpful. The sites were large considering the prime Tahoe location - we had plenty of space for our 9x8ft tent.
You can walk to a small beach from here, or go to Sunnyside bar + restaurant for lakeside food and drinks. Also walkable to Tahoe city, but I think cycling would be nicer.

TravelerThese camp sites are nestled in a neighborhood on West shore. That means it's close to the road, Sunnyside, a deli, the beach, bike trails, etc and about 10 minutes to Tahoe City. We stayed two nights and had quiet nights. Only complaint is tons of pollen.
