Clean, well-supervised, and shaded trees.

I just finished booking our second stay at Oak Park, and this time we're celebrating Christmas. The park is kept well groomed, and the lower lot is loaded with shade. I'm betting we'll be coming back, again, after our up-coming reservation. A big shout-out to the camp host for doing such a great…

Nice and comfortable

I stayed here for about three weeks. Envy thing is quite nice. However, you do get some road noise if you stay on the road side

Great with considerations

The most fantastic thing about this RV spot is the location - directly facing a large, beautiful, clean beach with built in fire rings, a very long bike bath and bike rental kiosk. You can step out of your RV and be right on the beach in minutes, for long walks, biking, sunbathing etc. The…

Too expensive!

Staff did their job, no extra friendliness. Space was concrete, but not level. Most spaces are dirt. All back-ins. Uphill to sewer. Paying for the pool and spa. Views are buildings or railroad and shipyard. I asked ppl why they stay here at this price. 1) they don't know any better (or more money…

Neat and clean but small spaces.

They have a very efficient way of checking their quest in. Staff was very nice and helpful. Bathrooms were very clean. The problem is the spaces are very small and beware of the ones on the north end the front of your vehicle will not be facing the ocean. Early morning you will smell the…

No swimming, no kayaking, no fun

Came here expecting to have camping fun on the lake — no such luck. Swimming only allowed at their “swimming beach” and only while life guard on duty. And to use my inflatable kayak, I have to use their boat launch and pay a $9.00 fee. Honestly, I’m so miffed at this no fun allowed rent begging…

What’s better than camping on the water

The directions don’t take you exactly there but just keep cruising on golden shore road and you will see it on your right side. Great shaded area right on the water. Great spots to pull in and enjoy a few days or longer. Electrical hook ups and paved roads

Enjoying visit

Staff keeps the grounds clean, clean bathrooms, heated pool and hot tub, and other fun things to do like horse shoes. We would stay here again if we come back to this area.

Castaic Lake Campground

This is a nice campground. Very close to the city but still with visiting. I’m a van camper so I rented an RV site because I wanted shade trees. The tent camping sites in the first section have very little shade. Maybe one or two sites have shade. You definitely have to bring a canopy. I…

Nice for tents but more for RV’s

There are two camping lots here, the Upper and the Lower campgrounds. Both seem to be more geared for RV use, the Upper lot is almost completely asphalt and pretty exposed to the sun. I wasn’t a fan. The Lower lot however has ample shade and there’s enough room at some sites to comfortably put a…

Nice little urban RV Campground

Stayed at Golden Shore RV resort in Long Beach, CA for several days. It's very quiet and safe. Security is very good and felt very safe, especially considering the location. The staff was very nice and helpful. The grounds are kept in excellent condition - very clean and secure. The pool, showers,…
