Beach Camp

It was nice! Very clean! The boardwalk was endless and great to walk the dog and go for a run! Restaurants all around to have dinner at!

Bolsa Chica State Beach

The 4 stars is primarily for location. This is essentially a parking lot with power and water. We had a beach front space (B035) with a decent sized palm tree. The only one I really saw. The spaces aren’t huge so if you have a big rig or large trailer it will be tight. Most trailers parked their…

Great local spot if you can get reserved

Lucky to have an aunt that reserves sometimes too many weekends, we benefit a few times last summer

What’s better than RVing on the beach

So you’re looking at a six month waiting period to get in so if you plan to come here make sure you book 6 months in advance. You must reserve online and then it’s $15 no matter what size vehicle or rig to enter the state park. If you’re just coming to enjoy the beach for a day that’s also…

Waterfront accommodations

The hike from Two Harbors is fairly flat and along a road so it's easy. We stayed two nights in June and it was great. The weather was warm but mostly overcast so perfect for camping & hiking. The campground reservation comes with water and firewood, and there are port a potties in the middle…

Beautiful

This is a nice spot to camp. A little pricey per night ($70) but sometimes you just gotta splurge. You do have to walk to your site which involves a few hills but I took a few breaks along the way and it was fine. You can pay to get your luggage delivered to your site I am unsure of the price. We…

Best Trans-Cat Stop

If you’re backpacking the Trans-Catalina trail, this is one of the best spots. Great views of the sunset, spaced out campsites with water spouts at each one and a 6 mile hike from airport in the sky. I recommend a site closer to the water. Make sure you have all your supplies with you.

I love this place!

Do the whole trans Catalina trail. 50 miles. Hot. Mostly Exposed. Bison. Really. Google it.

Close to OC comforts

Super convenient beach front parking with good restrooms and outdoor showers as well as a beach path perfect for walking, biking, rollerblading, etc. The beach is pretty wide here so may take a good minute to get to the ocean, but definitely worth it for the convenience with proximity to…
