Great and safe place

Very well maintained place. Nice space between RV’s. Convenient trail in the back of the RV site along the river with restricted access so you can walk your dog. The staff are great.

Good for overnight

Called to see if they had availability for the night after the office had closed, but a woman answered and gave us late check-in instructions. Clear list of available sites, amenities and prices. Pull-through site we chose wasn’t quite level, but close. The pull-through sites alternate direction of entry. Concrete pad, grassy areas in between on the door-side; neighbor’s hookups on the hookup side. Pad was long enough to stay hooked up and wide enough to have slides out, but if the neighbor on the hookups side has slides on that side, they’d be almost touching . Full hookups worked fine. Restrooms good, but the stall doors didn’t all lock. The freeway noise was pretty constant, and there was an occasional sour smell from the river, I guess. Would stay here again.

Great park needs bathroom upgrade

This was a good park. Easy in and out. Good traffic flow design. The bathrooms are locked after 10PM so don’t come in late. It would be better if they had a chargeable passcode lock for late night or early morning access. They don’t open until 7:30AM. Also the shower areas are open other then a shower curtain on the shower. So if you want privacy you need to shower elsewhere. If not for the bathroom issues I would have given them 5 stars.

Hidden Gem

This place is a hidden gem in Bakersfield amid industrial complex buildings. It does sit next to a branch of the Kern river…unfortunately it was dry. The campground is clean and well maintained. Sites are level dirt for your rig and a clean cement pad for your chairs etc. A few of the pull thru spaces are a bit close together especially if you have pull outs but the cement pads do not face each other. Full hookups at each site including a sewer line and cable tv with a modest list of channels. There are trees some sites are shaded others not so much. The bathrooms are by far the cleanest I’ve seen. They have a great laundry room as well. There is a pool, a pretty impressive sized rec room, there also is a camp store saw these at a distance we did not stay long enough to use these facilities. I would definitely stay here again.

Clean, Friendly with pool, hot tub, laundry, wifi, showers and full hookups

We stayed for one night, after dry camping in Yosemite for several days. It was nice to fresh hot showers, do laundry, recharge everything and get a good night's sleep. The place is for RVs, no tent sites, fire rings or tables, but well spaced level pads, with full hookups, a concrete patio for your own table and chairs, grass, flowers, trees and landscaping. I took a dip in the swimming pool, it was very refreshing. The hot tub jets massaged my neck and shoulders after driving for several days. The site has a recreation room and outdoor grill with picnic tables. The location is close to 99 but not too loud. Costco is nearby. There is a river and a park on the other side of the RV Park fence. Overall just what we were looking for.

Clean place to stop, very affordable!

We stopped by here for 2 nights and we are glad we did, everything from the bathrooms to the laundry were fantastic clean/maintained, the pool was nice, the park was very clean and organized. Spots were a little close to each other but not too bad since everyone was facing opposite sides. The river unfortunately is dry so don't expect a river access... the food around the area is great, we stopped by Temblur brewery up the road and it everything they offered was amazing! Park staff was very accommodating and made the whole process super easy! We would definitely stay again!

Quiet Oassis

Clean, quiet RV Park right off the 99. Spotless bathrooms with great showers. They have a rec room, workout room, outdoor bbq area with a nice grill, à pool and a little store. Wifi, phone signal and cable were good. Other campers were friendly couples and families. We were the only ones with a rental rv. It was a Saturday night in October and they still had some open spaces.

Pristine accommodations!

Everything is clean and tidy! Nice large trees to shield you from the unrelenting heat. Great WiFi speeds. We were only passing through for one night but it was easy setup with modern hookup posts. We even had over 60+ digital channels when connected to the cable.

Quick and Easy

We stopped here between Joshua Tree and Oakland. Super easy to get a same day spot. Full hookups. Everything looks pretty new. Very quiet and tidy. Not much to see nearby. We didn’t check out any facilities. Wide spots too.

Great Park

Great park - we stayed 2 nights on our way through to Arizona. Easy back-in and what we saw of the park was spotless. We arrived late, were out most of the next day, and left early the following morning. Seamless online reservations, check in, check out, and got a pleasant message asking if we wished to extend our stay. Definitely a city type park - nothing "camping" about it, but it was great for 2 easy nights. We are probably staying a night on our way back through.

GREAT amenities, road noise is a real thing

I’ll bet the other side of the park is better but we were backed up to the fence (#56). The spots are great regardless of rig size, some well-kept live ins, mostly transients like us it appears. Bathrooms are spotless and they have a COVID sanitation schedule marked on the doors. Grounds are immaculately kept with excellent plug in poles, easy to access water and sewer. If not for the danged highway noise this would be five stars for sure. Ask for 1-32 or 89-113 to have your best chance of avoiding the highway noise. Of note, the river is dry but there is an equestrian path along it. Access requires code.

One of the nicest, most upkept campgrounds we’ve ever stayed at. The bathrooms and grounds are modern, the showers are fantastic. Definitely stay here if you are traveling through.

Absolutely Top Notch

We are not experts, by any means, this is our first road trip by RV, but this park was awesome. The showers were better than you'll find in most homes, lol & the pool was beautiful & spotless, tho u will need a reservation during Covid, you get a 35 minute slot, 10 people at a time. Which was nice, who likes a crowded pool?!! Our spot was easy to pull thru with a little shade, & the place is well kept & quiet! Laundry room was clean & fees were low...

Super convenient, clean, friendly

Easy pull on and pull off campground off the 99. Close to Costco for cheap gas. Campsites are nice with full hookups and pull through options. Grass at each site. Nice looking amenities but we only overnighted so can’t say how they were (esp during pandemic).

Staff very friendly. We did easy late check in and had no reservation but there wasn’t a problem. There were several sites still available. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice RV park

Very clean, nice level sites. Great river run area to run the animal. Pool, Jacuzzi and small store. I'm sure it would be even more fun when the river is running.

Home Town RV Parlk

Bakersfield RV park just off Hwy 99. My home town, Born and raised, so I've stayed here a few times returning. Nice park adjacent to a great bike trail of 50+ miles. The river is not always running as in some of the pictures. Gravel pads concrete patios surrounded by grass. Daily weekly monthly rates, and have used all of them.
