Sierra Campground

Sierra Campground off the beatin path. Full hook ups in summer. Closed in winter. Tall pines block satellite feeds. Spotty Cell service. Daily, weekly, monthly rates. Lots of trees dropped due to bark beetle. Pool, group camping, ball fields, disc golf

Home Town RV Parlk

Bakersfield RV park just off Hwy 99. My home town, Born and raised, so I've stayed here a few times returning. Nice park adjacent to a great bike trail of 50+ miles. The river is not always running as in some of the pictures. Gravel pads concrete patios surrounded by grass. Daily weekly monthly rates, and have used all of them.

Sacramento RV Park

Inter city RV Park at Cal Expo. Great Bike paths adjacent along the river into Downtown or up to Folsom. All Full hook up sites on gravel or asphalt, daily, weekly, monthly rates. Stayed a couple of times for sons events at college there.

Nice water district Campground

Great campground outside LA. Weekly/monthly rates. 120 day max per year, seasonal limits. Full hookups at about 10-15 sites and the other 160 Mostly water/ electric. Deer in site nightly, many movie companies film here at and around the lake. Boating , fishing, disc golf. I spent a couple months here, off season and rarely did I have neighbors except maybe on a weekend. Most of the time it was 90% empty.

Beach front campground in Southern California

Beachfront camping in the heart of southern California. Concrete/asphalt sites with water electric and dump station. Adjacent to PCH so road noise but steps away from great sand beaches. Easy access to Long Beach and not far from Disneyland so great when kids came in from out of state to visit. bike path runs by the site for miles in both directions. Campfire rings on the beach but not in the campground.

Great National Forest Campground

Very Nice Campground in the Targhee National Forest in the Island Park area. Riverside with fishing access. Dry camping with dump station near by. Picnic tables and fire rings

RV resort

Beautiful RV resort with short drives to the beach, San Diego, and casinos. Full hook ups, pool, dog walk. Little pricey and has RV age restrictions but I sent pics and was allowed eveen though I was outside the age.

Beachfront camping

Beautiful beachfront camping steps from the sand. Dry camping with a dump station available. Great sunsets and beautiful sand.

Fairgrounds camping

Grassy full hook up sites in Sonora Ca. At the junction of Hwy49  the “Chain of Gold” and 108 outside Yosemite National Park. Daily/weekly rates. Short walk to downtown in this 1850’s mining town.

Large water district camping

Large water district camping outside Ojai Ca. Full hook ups at most sites. $50 a night plus extra for tow vehicle. 8 areas to to choose from. Water park in summer, disc golf, fishing, boating, home of the ‘84 Olympic rowing competition. Gates close at 10 pm and had to park outside when I didn’t get back in time and walk in. Dirt and grass sites depending on where you choose. Many amenities

Beautiful beachfront camping

Stayed here a week with views of the Channel Islands, seals, sea lions, whales, and dolphins. Along  frontage road next to US 1/101 outside Ventura. No hook ups but trucks come by offering sewer/ water services. Wood trucks also come by. First come first served $32 per night. Beach just feet away and I had seals right below my rig.

Beach side no hook ups

Beautiful beach side campground where you can put your wheels right over the sand Maybe even get ocean spray on your windows. $50 a night with no hook ups. Between the freeway/ rail road tracks and the ocean with a great long bike path adjacent running from Ventura to Santa Barbara and beyond.
