Great Arkansas Park

A little crooked roads get down to the park , we decided to use the 170 hwy. entrance to get in. Not as bad. but what a beautiful place , way down in a valley with Lee creek running though it , the rv sites we pretty much level, with lots of room. The staff at the the park were very nice and…

Primitive and Perfect

We enjoyed camping here. Things were a little chaotic because we were there during the Byrdfest Music Festival, but the campground was just what we were hoping for.

Excellent campground

Would be a 5 if they had more 50amp sites. Only 18 sites for RVers. However most sites have plenty of shade so we still love this place. Good hiking for various levels. Lodge close by if you don’t want to cook and fabulous sunsets from Cameron’s Bluff.

  • Picnic table towards the back
  • Wider angle of the backside of the site. Notice they have fire pits and a tent or easy-up area also.

Nice

Nice little campground with all the amenities. Super clean bathrooms with granite counter and tile. Pleasant hosts. Quiet, just a bit of highway noise but not much. Pool, hot tub, jump pad, pond with rental boats, lots of kids games. Nice lots with mature trees for shade. There are also cute cabins…

Good clean campground.

We had a little trouble getting our 25' camper into site 06 but we did get it in. We had a good time canoeing and swimming at the beach.

NOT dog friendly

I have been to devil's den MANY times. I've always loved it and have never had any issues. I send many, many friends to the park to go camping. We drive nearly 5 hours to go. Well, until my trip this weekend. I'm a covid front lines worker and haven't had a weekend off in far too long, so I brought…

Very nice, don't know why it's not packed!

I drive truck, always have a hard time getting in/out of places with a semi and usually end up not getting to camp. The main pavilion in the center of the grounds is HUGE! theres INSTANT hot water, no waiting for 10 minutes for luke warm water. About a dozen of each... toilets, showers, urinals. 2…

Site?? no numbers on tent sites.

Great camping

I like the layout of the campground. Tent sites were separate of RV sites instead of being all mixed in. Good hiking trails of varying difficulty. Clean grounds and clean bathrooms.

Peaceful

This COE park is a great place to camp and unwind as well as enjoy nature and get in some fishing or maybe kayaking.

The lake is a local favorite for boating, swimming and other water sports and even features an island with its own beach.

The park is well kept and clean with recently re-vamped…

Tent camping

Me, my wife and lil dog, drove into the campground to find out more information to stay the night. We met an employee who was on a golf cart. He (Mike) was super friendly and informative. He directed us to go find a comfortable tent spot, set it up and they would get with us later on the…

Peace and Relaxation

This campground is located right off of Hwy 71 for easy access. Plenty of room for big rigs. Just a short ride to the Wolf Pen Gap trail system. Located in the heart of the Ouachita Mountains, 7 miles south of Mena.

After hours checkin is still by the honor system!!

Beautiful and Clean

This is probably our favorite campground so far. The sites are spacious and clean. The water spigots are insulated for colder weather camping. There are several hiking trails with varying levels of difficulty. There are several beautiful falls along Lee Creek.

We didn’t make it to the pool but…

Perfect minus the bugs

Devil’s Den is an oasis of trails and amenities. We hiked their awesome namesake trail in about an hour—Interesting paved stairs and pathways lead you to lovely little spots and views including a trio of hidden waterfalls. Bathrooms and sites are roomy at campsite A. BUT STAY ALERT: We had many…
