J and J RV Park

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

A small creek runs along one side of J and J RV Park, and at night campers report hearing bullfrogs and the sound of water moving over rocks. The park sits close to Hot Springs National Park, with an amusement park visible across the highway, so the surroundings are active rather than remote. Sites along the creek are back-ins, and reviewers consistently recommend requesting one of those spots for the water views and ambient sound. The park hosts a mix of overnight guests and long-term residents, which gives it a settled, neighborhood-like feel rather than a high-turnover campground atmosphere.

Full hookups include water, electric up to 50 amps, and sewer, with pull-through sites available that can accommodate rigs up to 70 feet. One practical note worth heeding: Josh F. advises to "recommend using a water pressure regulator," as at least one camper experienced a pipe leak from high pressure at the hookups. Facilities include showers, a laundry room, and a small dining area. WiFi reception has been inconsistent across reviews, and satellite internet users may want to secure a spot on the west side of the park for better signal. Pricing runs around $48 cash or $53 by card, with no online reservations available.

The owner draws repeated mention across reviews for being approachable and helpful. Pets are welcome, and there is open space to walk dogs, though no dedicated dog park. The Hot Springs National Park KOA sits just east of the property for those weighing nearby alternatives, and campers planning a longer stay in the region can browse places to camp around Hot Springs to compare options. Downtown Hot Springs and the national park are roughly a ten-minute drive away, making this a functional base for exploring the area.

Great location

The location is convenient, and everyone is super friendly! It’s mainly long term/permanent campers, which makes for a small neighborhood vibe. Choose a back in site along the pretty little creek. All the basic amenities plus coin operated laundry.

Great small campground along a stream

Great value for the price, $48 cash/$53 card. No online reservations. Owner is really nice and helpful. Clean facilities. Quiet.  Sites along the stream have a great view and a great place to sit and enjoy nature. About 10 minute drive to the National Park/Downtown Hot Springs. Recommend using a water pressure regulator, one of my pipes started leaking from the pressure.

Clean and convenient

Nice little campground with nice, clean restrooms and showers. The creek is nice and you can hear the water flowing over the rocks at night, the proverbial babbling brook. Owner is very friendly and helpful. It’s a short drive to Hot Springs to see the attractions

Very Nice, Quiet Place

This park was very peaceful and quiet. You can hear the bullfrogs at night. JJ - the owner was the ice on the cake. Just such a nice fellow. There are several full timers there. It is right on a little creek, and there are turkeys somewhere nearby. The RV Park is very very close to Hot Springs National Park, and there is an amusement park right across the highway. The Wi-Fi is nonexistent. There is no dog park, but plenty of space to walk your fur children. We enjoyed the full hook ups. Nice big pull thru sites. There is a laundry room and bathrooms on the premises. I had an enjoyable experience, and would gladly stay there again if I am ever nearby.

Friendliest RV Park

Fantastic spot with pretty standard hookups - water & power up to 50A. Clean facilities with showers and showers even a little dining area.

Owner is supper friendly and outgoing! We talked to him for over 30 minutes.

If you’re after satellite internet, be sure to get a spot on the west side of the camp.

Quiet Stay

We stayed for a couple nights. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We did laundry and took showers during our stay- they were fine for us - nothing fancy but we had plenty of hot water and clean facilities. I do wish the shower/laundry facilities were better lit at night. It was very dark in areas. WiFi worked perfectly for us. Beautiful creek and open space nearby for enjoying the open air.

Small but easy access

We planned on staying at Guphea Gorge but it was first come gets a spot type of camping. So we found this was closer and $39 a night plus tax. Small RV park but easy to get in and out with big rigs and full hookups. So quite you could hear a cricket fart and the babbling creek running through the beautiful property. I was disappointed that they don't promote wearing masks and social distancing 😕😱 I would definitely stay again if Gulphea Gorge is full.
