TLC badly needed

We’ve been to this RV park a couple of times.   Both times there is NOT a working dryer in the laundry facilities.  It’s frustrating when you pay for services that don’t exist but is advertised as an amenity.

Also, the sites are run down. Didn’t even bother to rake the old leaves away.  We also had to run the water from another site.  Our neighbors were complaining about their site not having water either.

Also, I think there should be some sort of discount for the mining if you’re paying for an RV site.  It’s $25 a person for the mining of crystals. $35 if you want a mine tour and mining. .

Quiet grounds and perfect for a trip for crystal digging

The campground is on the small side, but with a nice shower area and coin laundry. The paved areas (including the Rv pads) are a bit rough, but ok. Leveling pads were needed for our site . Lots of crystals just laying around also. Something out of the control of the campground, but the Oakworms were crazy. That’s not rain you hear falling from the trees! lol Stay under the awning.

Good price and close to the crystal mine

I don’t think camping at this RV park is about the camping experience; it’s about the proximity to the crystal mines. It is a good campground for the price, but it is not anything fancy.

However, if you travel to the area to specifically go mining for crystals then it is definitely a win because the crystal mines are only a rock(or crystal) throw away from the park.

This RV park is located near Coleman Rock Shop & Crystal Mines and Ron Coleman Mining (And yes, they are owned by the same family but they are different sites). Ron Coleman Mining is the site closest to the RV park and the Rock Shop is located on the corner of main st. Coleman Rock Shop is the more affordable option out of the 2 crystal digging sites.

I’m all about value and experience and this place serves both.

$12 a night, full hookup potential AND you are walking distance to the mine!!! For $20 you can go spend the day diggin through dirt and finding crystals. I don’t think everyone has the luck we had but we came after a rain and cleaned up. Hundred bucks in gems. Ok bathrooms and laundry... serves the purpose you’d expect from a $12 a night place. The REAL draw here is the mine and we had a blast! I do recommend. We took the spot up top the hill [upper left corner] and found crystals in our campsite around the fire pit :)))
