Close to Lake Havasu

Only minutes from Lake Havasu City. Lots of room to find a semi level spot. You can park far enough off the highway no highway noise. Lots of big rigs. No issue for 40’ pusher and 24’ car hauler

Convenient Location

It's two miles South of the SARA Park in Lake Havasu City. There are a couple of concrete pads available but previous long-term campers have left large piles of trash when they left. There's a dumpster at the entrance to the SARA Park just two miles down the road. Please use it.

2WD did it okay

Large, wide open space. Very little privacy besides the topography of the land - setting up on the hill or heading farther back. We pitched a tent and made it fine in our honda civic. Road is quite bumpy with lots of menacing, medium sized rocks. Area looks like it could be residential, but no problem there besides a motorcycle revving further back late at night. Stunning views in the morning, worth a stop in a pinch. We took the second turn in coming out of Lake Havasu City (there are several turn ins). The first turn in road was smoother.

Nice location

Stopped at another blm spot, Craggy Wash and we turned around where we were able too with our 30ft TT, to much trash and broke down rv’s. then found this Havasu wash 4 miles south of town. Great spot, we’re the furthest back TT you can go.

East of SARA Park.

Located on the east side of Hwy 95 in Arizona. It is a big area which can handle all size rigs. There were fire rings made with stones. I got there late in the afternoon but was able to find a fairly decent spot.

Favorite spot in Lake Havasu

Been here often and love the spot especially for big rigs. Only problem is cell service. Way out in the back no Verizon or little and A T&T is what worked for us. Would suggest cell booster. Close enough to dumpster at Sara Park and town. Close enough to go to beach, groceries, activities.

Eek

Drove in and drove out. There were a couple RVs which looked broken down and a lot of trash. Did not feel safe. Left to try Cattail Cove, which is 10 minutes away.

Easy off, easy on.

I stopped at Havasu BLM on a whim, and I don’t regret it! This is an old gravel quart, and it looks like it. That said there are BIG Class A coaches up here too. Lots of room, some fire rings but stones scattered everywhere to create your own if needed. 6.5 miles to Lake Havasu City make for a convenient location. GPS : 34°26’36”N 114°13’27” W 1,180 ft. A massive, old gravel quarry from the look of it.

Havasu BLM is Dispersed camping. Relatively flat, a lot of space to find a spot to park. Surfaces are hard packed generally with gravel base. Only 6 miles from Lake Havasu City makes for a great location. AT&T 4G signal 3 bars more or less. A great spot to lay over, bring your OHV to run around in the hills, or bring your boat and head to the lake!

Terrible

If this is the best Havasu city has to offer I am quite disappointed. The area was dirty trashy. We were warned by other campers that there were nails from people burning and that they have already dealt with flat tires. As far as off-road riding the trails are access roads that follow the powerlines. If you want to ride off road, this is not the place.

Beautiful and convenient location

Plenty of flat spots. The entrance is relatively smooth. Any size rig can stay here.

Although there were several rv's here, it was very quiet. Good star gazing and close to town.
